Great venue and had a fun night. Let down by the fact that I was sold Aldi Prosecco for £25.50. Average price per bottle(non-Aldi) in bars in that area is £18. I’m sorry but that did not sit well with me at all. Staff were great though, so not their fault. I won’t go back again as felt ripped off.

Flawless. I hosted an event for 65 people which included a live big band. The staff were incredibly helpful, before, during and after the event and were so relaxed about everything, which put me fully at ease. They were very flexible about setting up, room layout and decorations and the wating staff were great, all of which made for a great atmosphere and an evening to remember. The three course meal was excellent and the menu choices all very appealing. I look forward to holding my next event here.

We attended a 60th & 80th birthday Party here at Stanley house, what a beautiful place for any function or occasion, extra rooms available for food to be served, 2 bars which was great so no queuing, friendly staff all around, the room was decorated extremely well. Lovely night had by all.

I honestly don’t even know where to start with this review From the very first mention of the wedding to the moment we sang our way out, Stanley House was nothing short of perfection. We sent 89 emails in the run-up to the day (yes, really!) and every single one was answered quickly, kindly, and professionally (thank you Vickie but also sorry!). Everyone went above and beyond at every step — nothing was too much trouble, and their calm, organised approach made the entire process so easy. The day itself was everything we’d dreamed of and more. The food was simply unbelievable — we’ve had so many guests asking for recipes and saying it was the best wedding meal they’ve ever had. The evening buffet was just as amazing. Every detail was perfect, right down to the finishing touches that made the whole day feel personal and seamless. The rooms were stunning, beautifully clean and luxurious, and it felt like every part of the venue had been thought through with care and love. We were able to go in and set things up the night before which will be a memory in itself for me and my bridesmaids. It also meant I was able to keep calm. Stanley House didn’t just host our wedding — they created the best day of our lives. We honestly can’t thank or recommend them enough. If you’re considering this venue… do it. You won’t regret it! We even attended their wedding fair and found our incredible DJ! From the very bottom of our hearts thank you to every single one of you the love we felt you put into the day can not be matched!
