The Hidden Frame

An amazing bird hide in a beautiful, peaceful setting. The hide is well positioned with excellent views from all 4 comfortable chairs making it easy to observe and photograph a wide variety of birds without disturbance. I saw many species during my visit. I highly recommend this amazing hide both keen birders and casual wildlife lovers alike.

What a fantastic experience! Steve has built a fantastic hide with plenty of activity throughout the day. He was very helpful and informative and I hope to return one day soon!

I visited the Hidden Frame hide on Friday 30th January 2026. I had a great day with numerous bird visits, including Robins, Nuthatches, Great Spotted woodpeckers, chaffinches, and many more. The 3 visits from the Sparrowhawk were the clearest and closest photos I have ever taken. I would highly recommend a visit to the hide, which has all the comforts (including heating) needed for a day of wildlife photography. Thank you to Steve and great to meet Paul as well.

visited the hide on Feb 14th this is a great hide to visit space for 4 people gimble heads provided for your cameras i was there from 8 am till 3.30 pm and the birds didn't stop coming in all day every garden woodland bird you can think of if you want to photograph great spotted woodpeckers this the place for you

Had a fantastic day at this superb hide, the hide is extremely well set up. It was very comfortable with gimbals, a heater and a great view to the multiple set ups enabling some great photo opportunities. There were so many different species visiting, I didn't know where to look. The Hyde Out Cafe on site is also great.
