DJ for Me Ltd

From our very first meeting with DJ John through to the final song at our son’s wedding reception, his professionalism, expertise and attention to detail were absolutely exceptional. It was immediately obvious that John has enormous experience, and throughout the planning process he made the couple feel that every detail and every wish mattered. He listened carefully, guided them brilliantly, and his suggestions were always spot on, so much so that they were embraced wholeheartedly. The set-up on the night looked incredible. The decks were beautifully styled, the lighting completely transformed the space, and when we were rather last minute let down and needed  a disco ball, John simply made it happen without hesitation. Nothing was ever too much trouble. His recommendations for lighting worked perfectly and created exactly the atmosphere we wanted, and special thanks must also go to technician Rob, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran seamlessly. Most importantly — the dance floor was never empty, which says everything. The music was brilliantly judged from beginning to end and the energy in the room was fantastic all evening. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending John, and we would very happily book him again for any future celebrations. A huge thank you to both John and Rob for helping to make the evening so memorable.

We had a thoroughly professional service from John, who was great from beginning to end, giving us advice and making recommendations that not only eased our minds, but saved us money. Although John himself was unable to DJ on the big day, Elliot was a great replacement who judged the mood and kept people dancing. Thank you.

We had so much fun at our party with John and Oliver providing just the right mix of tunes to get everyone on the dancefloor! Sore feet next day 🙂 The setup and kit is super professional, great sound and light. We found out at the last minute that the sound system of the venue wasn’t up to the job and John sorted us with a great system at short notice (Thank you!) Both were a joy to be with and so helpful, it really helped knowing we were in good hands so we could more time celebrating and none worrying!

John was an absolutely brilliant DJ for my 30th. He got the setlist absolutely on point and every single guest has said they had an unbelievably fun night. 10/10! ✨

Elliott was brilliant - he took a small playlist of my favourites and from that produced a fantastic set. Really great communication from John and lots of helpful advice about lighting options. 100% recommended!

John and the team at DJ for Me Ltd provided the DJ service for our wedding at the Horniman Museum. It was absolutely amazing. We had the best night ever! The venue was a special Victorian conservatory and we were offered specialised 'festoon' lighting which we're so glad we went with because it made the whole place look amazing. The music was brilliant! We were asked for playlists of all our favourite music and we heard all of it throughout the night! Our wedding was a combination of Scottish and Slovakian culture and we heard all the classic music from both countries which provided the backdrop to some amazing dancing and an incredible atmosphere. We could not have created such a night with John and DJ for Me and we highly recommend them for your wedding or any other event!

We had Jon for our wedding in June 2022 and what a fantastic day we had. Jon was very organised from the start and liaised directly with the venue beforehand which took a lot of the stress out for us. Jon was amazing and took the lead throughout our entire day, not just the evening! He made sure everybody felt included and kept the great tunes flowing all day and night so that the dance floor was never empty! Would 100% recommend Jon for weddings, parties and any other event!!
