We hired Cheshire Celebrations for our wedding at Shrigley Hall after seeing them at a wedding fair. They were fast to respond with quotes and packages and patient in explaining all the different options. We went for the LED dancefloor, light up names & room up lighting for decorations which made the main room look incredible! We also added on the 360 photobooth which was a huge hit with the guests & gave some amazing memories. Simon was great with communication throughout and we can’t thank them enough for helping to elevate our special day. Highly recommend!

We couldn't have asked for a better experience and DJ for our special day ,Simon is brilliant without a doubt. From the moment we booked, everything was professional and stress-free. The setup looked fantastic, the music was perfect, and the dance floor was busy all night. They really understood the atmosphere we wanted and kept everyone entertained from start to finish. A special mention has to go to the photo mirror, which was an absolute hit with our guests! Everyone loved it, and as the evening went on it became even more popular. The photos have given us so many wonderful memories and plenty of laughs. So many of our guests commented on how great the music was and what a brilliant time they had. Working with Simon and Rachel to plan our wedding day was an absolute joy. We hired them to provide venue dressing services for our wedding but they gave us so much more. Both are so professional, so helpful and their attention to detail was amazing. Simon helped us so much in the planning phase on things much wider than the services he was providing. Offering us great advice and tips from his experience on dealing with events over the years, that help so many times turned out to be priceless! He was always available, always accommodating and so easy/friendly to deal with. The venue dressing for the day was spectacular even better than we had imagined and the turnaround for the evening bringing in the dancefloor, lighting, led names, magic mirror etc.... was completely seamless. Again the end result was better than we could have hoped for. The care in their work ensuring everything was just as we had asked really helped take away so much stress on the day as you knew they wouldn't leave anything that wasnt perfect. I couldn't recommend them highly enough, they both helped us so much during the build up and helped us create a day we will never forget. Thank you both!

Simon and his team were simply amazing. They planned our 10 year celebration event, providing branding, a 360 photo booth, photographer, hybrid band, DJ and event coordination. Simon was all over detail from start to finish and we could not have asked for anything more from Cheshire events. Would highly recommend!

We booked our wedding DJ with such high hopes for our special day, however unfortunately there were several disappointments that significantly impacted our experience. Communication in the lead up to the wedding was good initially, however on the day itself things did not run as smoothly as expected. Certain elements included within the package we paid for either did not meet expectations or caused unnecessary stress on what should have been a seamless and memorable day. Our original saxophonist was injured and replaced at short notice. While the replacement performed well, it was not who we had expected to perform at our wedding. The saxophonist was also supposed to join halfway through our first dance, however this never happened, possibly due to a lack of communication from the DJ. We were also surprised to discover that the DJ on the day was not Simon, who we had communicated with throughout the booking process and who had conducted our final details call just two weeks before the wedding. Unfortunately, many of the things discussed during that meeting did not happen on the day itself, which made the meeting feel quite pointless in hindsight. The indoor sparks machine for our first dance failed to work due to a blown fuse, and a playlist I had spent months creating for our wedding breakfast was never played. At one point we even tried to locate the DJ to discuss this, but were unable to find him. To add to the disappointment, the music also cut out whilst guests were dancing. When you invest so much money into your wedding day, you naturally expect professionalism, reliability and attention to detail throughout. That being said, we do appreciate the effort made afterwards to try and resolve matters, although it did take several attempts to move from the original offer of a £250 refund. In total we paid £1,800 for the DJ package, including the dance floor, Mr & Mrs sign, saxophonist and indoor sparks machine, and were ultimately refunded £580. Unfortunately though, this was our wedding day something you only get one chance to experience. We simply feel it is important to give an honest reflection of our experience for other couples considering booking Cheshire Event group.
