Annie Jayne’s Cafe

Had a lovely visit here for breakfast and really enjoyed it. The food was spot on, a good portion, cooked well, and exactly what you want from a proper Barnsley breakfast. The ladies on customer service were brilliant too. Friendly, welcoming, and made the place feel relaxed from the moment we arrived. It is always nice when a café has good food, but even better when the people running it make you feel comfortable and looked after. The setting is great as well, with a nice view out over the field, plenty of space, and a calm atmosphere. It was also a great place to sit down and have a game of chess with my dad, which made the visit even better. Good food, good service, and a proper community feel. I will definitely be coming back.

Very friendly and warm welcoming. Not locals but we’re passing by and they did not disappoint. Food was lovely and affordable. The cafe was clean. There also is a nice outside area that leads on to a field at the back which is ideal for children. Thank you!

Visited for the first time on recommendation from a friend. Lovely atmosphere, very welcoming ladies. Food was delicious 😋 would definitely be coming again.
