Murphy Browns

We visited this evening to celebrate Easter and had a really lovely experience. The food and service were both excellent. They also offer a great selection of gluten-free options, which was especially important as my mum has a gluten allergy—she was absolutely delighted with it. We’ll definitely be back!

Murphy Browns absolutely blew me away last night — easily my favorite place of our entire trip so far. Every single part of the experience was 10/10. The food was truly some of the best I’ve ever had in my life. I ordered the chicken wings, chicken curry, and cheesecake, and I can genuinely say all three were the best versions of those dishes I’ve ever eaten. The flavors were incredible, portions were generous, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality. On top of that, the wine selection was fantastic — I had two glasses of Shiraz and loved every sip. The atmosphere and ambiance were perfect too: warm, lively, cozy, and full of character. But what truly made the night unforgettable was the service. Our two servers were absolutely amazing — accommodating, attentive, knowledgeable, fun, and genuinely friendly. They even took the time to look up the weather for us for the next day when we mentioned we were driving elsewhere. That level of care and hospitality is rare and made us feel so welcome. If you’re in Belfast, do not miss this place. Could not recommend it more highly!

Feels like I've walked into gluten free heaven. The choices and flavor were unreal. It's very rare I leave a restaurant feeling satisfied and not feeling like I'm losing out. Will definitely be back. This was complimented by the amazing staff

Shared a fantastic lunch with family. Great sized portions and very tasty. Staff were very accommodating and pleasant. Would definitely recommend. We will definitely return in the near future.

Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The overall quality of the food and service did not meet my expectations. It arrived cold, didn’t taste fresh, and left a bad impression. The overall experience was poor and the standard of service and food needs serious improvement. I wouldn’t recommend returning., and the visit didn’t feel worth the price. There were issues that made the experience uncomfortable, and I wouldn’t choose to return.
