A D Hockley Catering

I booked this caterer after a recommendation by a family member and let me say I was not disappointed. From the start they catered for my needs even making a veg dish that they had never made before and it tasted amazing. They arrived at the venue when they said they would. They played up and ensured the venue waiters served quickly. The food was delicious. Starters of kebabs, chicken legs and cod bites were tasty. Salad was fresh and crisp and the chat was lovely Both the meat curry and chicken curries were not too greasy and were delicious. Both rice dishes were perfectly cooked and the roti’s were soft and hot. The pudding was refreshing. Everyone commented how much they enjoyed the food and even the karak chai was one of the best they had. Something unfortunately I didn’t get to sample myself. The owner Azar is friendly and I must say his customer service is brilliant. Would definitely be using them again for our future events from now on.

The food at my sister’s wedding at Alrewas Hayes on 4th July was honestly one of the best wedding meals I’ve ever had. From the canapés through to dessert, everything was absolutely delicious. Every course was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and served perfectly. So many of our guests commented on how good the food was, which isn’t something you hear at every wedding! The service was fantastic too. The staff were friendly, professional and so well organised, making sure everyone was looked after without ever feeling intrusive. Everything ran so smoothly, and it was clear how much hard work went on behind the scenes. A huge thank you to the whole catering team for helping make such a special day even more memorable. The food really was one of the highlights, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or special event.

We used AD Hockley for both my wife’s Mehndi and our Walima, and I honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough. I sampled food from various caterers before deciding, and AD Hockley was by far the frontrunner. The Masala Fish and Chicken Bhuna were personal favourites, but every dish was fantastic. The food, service and overall experience were excellent. If you ever need catering, there’s only one name that will come to mind for me now — Highly recommended!

I am usual called the fussy one, when it cones to restuarant or wedding food, but I enjoyed the food at Haris's wedding on 21 August 2026. The food was delicious, all items in starters, chicken tandoori, potato wedges, except the sheesh kebabs were not the item I was keen on. Others enjoyed it though. Can their taste be improved? All items in the main meal were delicious palak chicken , lamb curry. Pulao, roti,. Gajar halwa was greasy but yummy. Keep up the high standard!

We used Ad Hockley for both our Mehndi (100 guests) and wedding reception (300 guests), and the service was outstanding from start to finish. Communication was excellent, with great support throughout the planning process, including logistics, menu tasting, and answering any questions along the way. The food was exceptional and a step above standard desi catering. Our guests loved the vegetable samosas, spicy roast chicken, masala fish, samosa chaat, meat korma, chicken palak, sweet rice, and gajrella — everything was full of flavour and beautifully presented. We received so many compliments from our guests and would highly recommend Ad Hockley to anyone looking for delicious food, quality service, and good catering experience.

I am truly delighted and grateful for the food you prepared for my daughter’s wedding. It was warm, delicious, and clearly prepared with great care and attention. I used AD Catering for my daughters wedding and I have to say this was probably the best wedding food I have ever tasted! The other guests all complimented the food stating it was delicious. Everything from the starters, mains and tea were on point. I have no hesitation recommending this place to anyone for any events. I for one will be using them for all my future events and so many of the guests have also asked for their details. Thank you to Azar and the team for a fantastic service from start to finish!
