Fennel & Twine

Fennel and Twine were exceptional. We booked the team for two evenings, catering for 15–25 guests across both nights. The first evening was relaxed, with incredible wood-fired pizzas served outside while everyone enjoyed drinks and conversation. Genuinely some of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Saturday was a completely different experience. A nine-course tasting menu, perfectly paired with wines from Hay Wines. Every dish complemented the wine beautifully, with just the right portion sizes. Ben and his team never fail to impress. I’m particular when it comes to food, but I have complete confidence in them and trust their recommendations entirely. If six stars were possible, they’d deserve them. From set-up to clean-up, everything was flawless. Whenever I host an event, Fennel and Twine will always be my first choice.

Fennel and Twine recently catered our wedding reception in Bristol, we had canapés followed by a hot buffet. The food was amazing and there was plenty of it, our guests all really loved it. We had great service and felt very in the loop in the run up. Would recommend!

I can’t recommend Fennel & Twine highly enough! I wanted to host a chef-cooked meal for my partners birthday, but the kitchen/dining space in our house wasn’t big enough for a chef and guests. Ben and Sarah went out of their way to accommodate and provided lots of menu options for me to prep and plate myself. The option to rent crockery and cutlery was also very helpful! Delivery, reheating and final food prep instructions were super clear and easy, and all guests were wowed by how yummy and generously sized the 3 courses were! Would definitely look to use again!

I cannot speak highly enough of Fennel and Twine, who catered for our sit down wedding meal recently. Sarah was a pleasure to work with, quick to respond to emails and to share clear information about their packages and pricing. They were happy to adapt to our particular requests and went the extra mile to support with a couple of extra things I asked for. The food itself was SUBLIME! From the canapes, through to the starters and mains, we were blown away. This is not average catering, and my husband and I both agreed that the menu was well worth the cost. On the day itself, the service staff were just wonderful. Super professional, approachable and keen to ensure we had a brilliant time. We barely noticed they were there, and yet the glasses were kept filled and plates whisked away when needed. Thank you to Sarah, Ben and the whole team at F&T. You made our special day even more special!

We chose fennel &Twine when another caterer couldn’t help us and I would never now use anyone else in the future!! They were magnificent on every level, service, professionalism, quality, adaptability! We had various alternative requests and they accommodated everything we asked for. Our guests all commented on the quality of the beautiful food. It was an 80th birthday celebration garden party for 40 guests! Utterly memorable. Thank you!

I cannot recommend Fennel & Twine enough. They catered our wedding last weekend, the canapés and the wedding breakfast was unbelievable! Everything was piping hot, tasted so good and I’ve never been to a wedding where there had been such good food. We had the Italian sharing menu and it was incredible. The waiting staff were also so lovely. The evening food of dirty fries was a hit too (we weren’t hungry yet but it tasted so good we had to eat them!) Thanks again to the whole team!!

Sarah and Ben have just cooked for our extended family of 11 for a week in Bude, Cornwall. We decided to go for a surprise menu to allow them to be flexible to local produce. Wow, the food was fantastic, far far better than any restaurant food I've ever had. Ben and Sarah are a lovely couple and a pleasure to have around. Their food and service is exceptional and they come highly recommended. We already have our Christmas party booked.
