Piccolino Chichester

We visited Peccolino for a last-minute birthday meal, and I loved every moment of the afternoon. The staff were incredibly accommodating, especially considering we didn't have a reservation. The service was excellent, and the wait for our food was surprisingly short. In fact, I was amazed when the waitress arrived with our meals so quickly—I certainly wasn't expecting them that soon! Every dish was delicious. The children enjoyed steaks, while my husband and I chose the zucchini pizza and calzone. The combination of flavours was fantastic, and the portion sizes were just right—satisfying without feeling too heavy, while still leaving room for dessert. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The ambience was lovely, complemented by gentle background music. We also enjoyed the open kitchen, which allowed us to catch a glimpse of the chefs at work. It added an extra touch to the overall dining experience and made the visit feel even more special. A wonderful meal and a memorable birthday celebration.

We went to Piccolino's in Chichester for our 26th wedding anniversary treat and from the moment we stepped off the boiling street into the Restaurant and its calm cool atmosphere, we could relax. The staff treated us like royalty, and showed us to our table where we ordered some drinks to get things going. We chose our favourites from the menu, which was no mean task as there was such a wonderful choice of meals. Although the restaurant was virtually full, it wasn't noisy. I chose chicken livers in masala sauce on sourdough bread, followed by swordfish skewers with a side of courgette strips, and my husband chose the frite mista and followed it with the calves liver with mashed potato. The desert menu was almost as difficult and I pinned it down to 2 but could not decide, so I took the only way out and had both! Believe me it was worth the struggle. We first came here on my birthday in January last year, and we were pleased to note that the high standards they set then had not dropped. Highly recommended.

Fantastic. Atmosphere was top notch, benefitting from the open kitchen, and garnished by brilliant front of house service. Wide range of Italian dishes across the menu and seasonal specialities are worth checking out. Perfect for date night and special family occasions with different seating formats available from booths to long tables. We will be returning and think you should too. Absolutely perfect. Seriously! Visiting Chichester and went due to reviews BUT wow it surpassed our expectations. A lovely atmosphere & decor. Excellent service from the very lovely Lily. Fantastic food, every mouthful was delicious! Cocktails thanks to Danny and an overall lovely experience which we would thoroughly recommend. Thank you!

Fabulous evening last night to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. A warm welcome from staff, superb food and wine and great service. Lily gets a special mention as our main waitress who remembered us from our first visit in April. Lily was so brilliant, Friendly, professional and prompt with all our requests. A delight. Our table, no 10, was lovely and comfortable and in a great position for us to enjoy the superb atmosphere within the restaurant. We must mention how fabulous it was too to eat in a great place with great food, great service AND No loud music! Perfect! Many thanks to Lily, our other male waiter and the catering team, it was a truly an enjoyable evening.

We came to Piccolino today with my girlfriend and had a really nice time. The steak was cooked well, juicy, and full of flavour. The potatoes were crispy too, which made the meal even better. Simple, but done properly. A special thank you to Vito and Nadya. Both of them were lovely, welcoming, and made us feel very comfortable. Excellent service really does make a difference, and they definitely added to the experience. Great food, nice atmosphere, and genuinely good people. We’ll be happy to come back.
