Five stars simply don’t do this place justice. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was outstanding, every single member of staff greeted us with a smile and a genuine willingness to help. Nothing felt forced; the whole team clearly enjoys what they do, and it really shows. They went above and beyond, offering options and ideas I genuinely hadn’t come across anywhere else. If you’re looking for a venue that will be truly memorable, I can’t recommend enough that you speak to Yaseen. He’s one of those rare people who makes the whole experience feel effortless. He sorted a complete package for me, and I’ll always be grateful for the exceptional hospitality and experience he delivered. On top of that, their media team is on another level the creativity and ideas they bring will honestly blow you away. Five stars just isn’t enough for a place like this. Highly, highly recommended.

Absolutely terrible experience I would never recommend Royal Mint Banqueting Suite in Coventry to anyone. The entire place is so poorly managed and unprofessional. The hall itself is completely unorganized, and the staff have no clue how to handle customers properly. The menu and catering were awful – the food didn’t taste good at all, and I’m not even sure if they use in-house or outside caterers, but either way, it was terrible. Safety is a big concern too. They use glass tables with no tablecloths, so when glasses are placed on them, especially with kids around, it becomes risky and dangerous. Parking is a nightmare. Cars are parked one behind the other with no proper system, making it a total mess to get in or out. Only one toilet each for men and women downstairs for a hall that holds about 200 people! And even those were not clean. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful throughout the entire event. Overall, the name Royal Mint is very misleading because there’s nothing royal or mint about it. Just a rubbish hall in Coventry. Definitely not worth booking.

Don’t ever book this place. Upon sitting down, half the glasses on the table were filthy. Brown stains on them. Not enough tables as requested and staff walked away when we tried to talk to them about the glasses. Sad to see that after 5 years, bad reviews still need to be left about this shitty hall

Disgusting venue, glasses were filthy and staff attitude and service left a lot to be desired. Ladies downstairs bathroom was dirty as soon as we entered the venue. I alerted staff and one of them went to investigate. Someone else complained about the toilets and that it needed a clean, to which the female staff member said "it’s not part of my job description". Service was slow and they did not pick up plates between courses, rather leave them right till the end of service. Did not have baby high chairs or nappy changing facilities either. But worst of all is that the hall is not safe for children at all. There were 3 incidents (that I know of) on the same day of children injuring themselves. Two children slipped and fell, cutting their lip and bleeding. Asked for a first aid kit and of course, didn’t have one on the premises. Second incident involved the dangerous "display" traditional bicycle / rickshaw. It was not cornered off. One child got her fingers stuck in the working bicycle chain. Normally if it’s just for show, many venues remove dangerous things like a bike chain but they left it in complete working order. And when we went to the kitchen for ice, they gave an ice cream tubs to soothe the child’s pain. On top of that, they didn’t seem bothered that yet another incident happened on their premises. One of the waiters stated people like the bike as it’s "fun". I can assure you, nobody had fun in this dreadful venue. It was my first and last time attending this venue, never again, worst in Coventry. They do not know how to provide good customer service, nor care about improving health and safety to a decent standard. AVOID.
