Our rehearsal dinner and afternoon tea, held the day before our wedding on May 16 at Thirlestane Castle, were catered beautifully. We couldn't have been happier with the experience. Fiona and Culinarians as a whole are an incredibly talented team. The afternoon tea was absolutely delightful, while the rehearsal dinner was elegant, generous, and truly sumptuous. Every dish was beautifully prepared and presented, and it was clear how much care had gone into every detail. For the dinner, we wanted to create a rich, romantic atmosphere inspired by Dutch Master paintings. The tablescape featured an abundance of fresh fruit woven throughout the display, all of which was real and edible. It created such a striking visual impact while still feeling warm and inviting, and the catering team executed our vision perfectly. As this was a smaller, more intimate gathering with our immediate family and members of our wedding party, it was especially important to us that the evening felt relaxed and welcoming. The food, presentation, and service helped create exactly that atmosphere. It was the perfect way to bring everyone together before the wedding and truly set the tone for the entire weekend. We are so grateful to the team for helping make the start of our wedding celebrations so memorable. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

We used The Culinarians for our wedding and they were absolutely incredible from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. When we returned from the ceremony, they quietly took us aside, had champagne waiting, and brought canapés to us - such a thoughtful touch. Blythe and Nico were especially attentive and patient with my wife, who has health concerns, going above and beyond to support her throughout the day. They delivered a fully gluten-free wedding menu and seamlessly catered for multiple dietary requirements without compromising on quality. The food was exceptional - we had several guests say it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. The service was equally impressive: professional, polished, and perfectly timed, even when things ran over. They were also incredibly responsive in the lead-up and very accommodating of our ideas, from flowers in the champagne to table mirror plans. They even ran the evening bar brilliantly. Everything was executed to the highest standard. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

From the very first planning session to the final guest’s departure, they provide a level of care and professionalism that gives us, and most importantly our couples, absolute peace of mind. Their menus are consistently delectable. Truly set apart by their incredible passion, they tailor every experience to the client's needs without ever compromising on quality or presentation. Throughout a wedding weekend, the Culinarians team goes above and beyond. They don’t just meet expectations; they exceed them by managing every logistical detail with precision. It is a joy to collaborate with a team as dedicated to the guest experience as we are.

I worked along side Fiona, Craig and the amazing team whilst I coordinated a wedding at The Cow Shed and they were fantastic! The level of service and the attention to detail they provide for your guests is incredible. Their food was delicious and all the guests raved about it!

An outstanding experience with Culinarians! We appointed Blythe and her team to do the catering at our wedding at Neidpath Castle in October this year, as well as host an informal Sunday brunch for close family the day after the wedding. The quality of the food and service was impeccable. So many of our guests commented on how incredible the food was and the service too. I would highly recommend anyone looking for professional, reliable and skilled caterers to consider Culinarians. We will certainly be hoping to use them again for future events.
