We recently used the private dining room for my father’s farewell dinner, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We were able to dress the room beforehand with flowers and display photographs both on the table and on an additional table, which made it feel very personal and special. The service was exceptional, attentive, thoughtful and always there when needed, but never over the top. The food was absolutely delicious too. Having the private room meant I was able to give a speech and, as a family, we could talk, reminisce and enjoy the evening together completely at ease. A very special evening for us, and we couldn’t have asked for a better setting. Thank you to the whole team for looking after us so wonderfully.

We’ve recently moved to Esher and have already visited this pub a few times and honestly, everything has been outstanding. We were especially happy to see Hawkstone Lager available here ,such a great touch! The food is absolutely amazing, really delicious and clearly made with care. The fish and chips is a standout, and we also tried the Sunday roast it was genuinely excellent and one of the best we’ve had. This pub has quickly become our first choice in the area. Highly recommended! Edit: We back again today. Everything was Amazing and Brilliant like Before . Thank you guys. Here is my favorite ❤️

We had such a lovely visit and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff were all incredibly welcoming, friendly and attentive from the moment we arrived, making us feel right at home. The food was excellent, with generous portions and everything cooked beautifully. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, making it the perfect place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. A big thank you to the whole team for looking after us so well. We’ll definitely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this pub to anyone looking for great food, excellent service and a lovely setting.

The food was absolutely delicious and tasty . I can say it was one of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. The staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming❤️

Group of 7 . Exceptional service , great atmosphere and delicious Sunday Roasts for all. Staff were amazing , Really smiley , happy and great with their customer Service . Staff went out of their way with my friend’s son who is autistic , he only wanted to have certain food on his plate , this request was met with understanding, compassion & not a problem attitude ,staff were happy to help in anyway they could . This was our first time. Even though we pass by daily we had never been here. My wife ordered short ribs, I ordered calve liver and my son ordered the burger. All of us really like the food! It is now our go to Pub/restaurant. Service was great and quick. Our waitress helped us with the menu and the food selection. She was very nice and pleasant to talk to. The atmosphere was nice. We sat inside, it was nicely decorated in a welcoming manner. You could also sit outside which were nice. It was also nice to be able to park at the back side of the pub. Overall it was a very good experience.

Writing ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I use this pub on a regular basis and particularly enjoy their Sunday roasts — in fact, I’m there nearly every Sunday! The food is absolutely fabulous, consistently well cooked and always enjoyable. The staff are generally very friendly and the pub has a great atmosphere. I would, however, mention one small point which I think is worth addressing. I have noticed on a number of occasions that some of the bar staff appear to be short-measuring spirits. When you’re standing at the bar watching the measure being poured, it is noticeable. I appreciate mistakes can happen, but given the licensing requirements around serving spirits, I would strongly suggest making sure all staff are properly trained and consistently following the correct measures. It would be a shame for an otherwise excellent pub to come a cropper over something so easily avoided. That aside, I really enjoy coming here and will continue to do so. The Sunday roast is absolutely fantastic, and I would happily recommend the pub. 🍽️🍻
