The Palm House

We booked The Palm House for my 60th birthday party for 70 guests, including a grazing table, and I couldn’t have chosen a better venue. Everyone commented on what a fantastic venue it was! We had use of the mezzanine floor, main room, bar area and courtyard, which gave everyone plenty of space to move around and socialise. The venue is beautifully decorated with a jungle theme, which worked perfectly with my animal print themed party. There are so many different areas, creating wonderful social spaces and a really special atmosphere. The food was beautifully presented and of excellent quality, and the bar staff were absolutely brilliant throughout the evening. A special thank you to Adrian, who managed our event. He was fantastic — double checking all the details beforehand and being available throughout the evening to make sure everything ran smoothly. His attention to detail and professionalism were greatly appreciated. Thank you so much to everyone at The Palm House. You helped make my 60th birthday party absolutely perfect and very special. I would highly recommend this beautiful venue for any special occasion!

What a lovely find on our journey back to London. A real Aladdin’s cave of beautiful decor and Nik & Naks. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. We enjoyed some cold drinks on a very hot day and a ploughman’s.. really tasty.

Turned up on a Wednesday lunchtime without a booking,,,,,my mistake, it's really popular and I can see why! The staff took time and patience to fit 2 of us in, and later allowed us to move outside where it was less humid without any fuss. The food arrived quickly and it was really delicious, a good sized sharing platter for 2 people. Decent selection of wine, spirits and bottled beer if you aren't a fan of draught lager.

Lovely afternoon tea for 3 including a vegan one. Everything fabulous and the staff were so accommodating including Hollie and Hattie. Thank you for making our day so special.

Superb Sunday lunch. Lots of choice , wonderful attentive team from start to finish. My aunt had a particular request on the day which was kindly arranged and each of our meals were outstanding..... whitebait, hoisin duck salad, Spanish burger and traditional fish & chips. It's beautifully decorated, very bouji with comfortable seating , sunshine on the small patio outside and a small private event upstairs tucked away. Noise level was just right ....soft enough to hear and loud enough to hear people just catching up and having a good time. Bill was split quickly and easily...nothing too much trouble. A gorgeous time finished off with a walk around the Packhouse

Amazing food today and all the staff were lovely. Small menu but great quality and good portions. We had the tarragon chicken & beef Bourguignon, both were delicious. Will definitely be back soon

The vibe of the restaurant was very relaxing and everyone was helpful and lovely.
