Deli Flavour

I just love this cozy deli cafe. Special mention to the wooden floor, so charming and homey. We enjoyed cups of latte and mocha, a piece of carrot cake and a slice of chocolate tiffin in the late Saturday afternoon, and left just before it started to rain. It’s such a nice place to read and have a quiet time, but of course you gotta know when to avoid the crowd. There’s loads of interesting food products too, which means the café deserves a second or third visit.

Usually a great place so still giving 3*. The service is good and the coffee and tea are good and falafel wraps are excellent. However this time I spent £8 on an avocado on toast. No egg. It was advertised as sourdough but I've had a lot of different sourdough and it didn't taste like it, just looked like slice bread. And it was burned? I could smell the burning from my sofa and thought she'd do another one. Her mood was also too sour to mention it so I didn't say anything it but thought I'd leave a review. There are a lot of cafe options on that street, this one was my favourite but I might avoid it unless other stuff are in.

We ordered buffet platters and salads to take away for a party of 25. They were amazing! The quality of the food and care the team took with presentation was fantastic. They also catered really well and efficiently for a range of dietary preferences. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others or to order again ourselves for a party!

Nice latte and cakes ...a bit expensive for MY wallet...but otherwise lovely...would venture again....once I've saved up some money!😀

Nice place. Good coffee. Service quick but soggy croissant.

Disappointed. Iced mocha was lukewarm, cinnamon bun was cold and stale. Staff were friendly, but not the most welcoming vibe. Maybe it's fine if you're a struggling single parent and need to feed your kid, or need to get away from a crisis, but don't expect to come here and leave feeling satisfied

It was rubbish.... We called in for some light lunch, four of us. It was around 2pm ish so the offerings were pretty thin. I had ploughmans sandwich, the bread dry...as in left-out dry, filling was awful, I left most of it, others had scone with clotted cream, they were also half eaten, saying the cream tasted 'synthetic ' the tea was cold. All in all it was a expensive waste of our lunch! We definitely won't be going there again anytime soon. We didn't actually make a complaint whilst we were there, as I had guest's and didn't want to make a scene, that being the only reason why I didn't complain.
