Bajanize Caribbean

Arrived on Saturday at 1:55 pm, they open at 12:00 noon. Waited for a little over 1 hour to be served, only to be told when finally at the service window, they are out of what I wanted. No apology, just come earlier we open at 12 noon. Many people are coming from outside London to get a taste of home and share with others. Surely, you should be telling the long hungry expectant queue when one of the main items - featured on your IG - is finished. You could also consider putting up a sign to say you are all Out of certain items, if you’re too busy? The foreigners in our group were disappointed and couldn’t believe it. We were embarrassed to say the least. You have a good product. Do better please sir.

My wife and I no longer live in London, so whilst visiting on Saturday 11th June we took the opportunity to reacquaint ourselves with Bajanize. Ordered 5 x souse. Superb! Meat (trotters – essential + pig ear) beautifully cooked. The souse itself contained all the right proportions of cucumber, onion, juice, salt and hot pepper. And all at a fair price. Was very happy to see again the two lovely ladies dishing up this feast. Almost too good to share – "while I chew you swallow". This was the best so far, and it has been great for years. Will be back next time we visit the capital. Stands out as it is not the usual generic "Caribbean" fayre, but proper Bajan cuisine.

Legit Legit Legit Bajan food. If you ever thought you knew Caribbean food, you don't til you taste a Bajan hand. The seasoning is just different, flavours different, and your money will go to the bank for its own loan. BBQ pigtailssss, my lord, they niiiiice but not like the flying fish...make sure you have some fishcakes when you waiting for your fish to fry. Bajanize is the place!

My daughter and I had the macaroni pie and plantain because I’m vegetarian. The staff were really sweet and game my daughter some samples of the meat curries which she loved. We will be back again! 🇧🇧

A rare chance to taste some authentic Bajan dishes. Great service although prices are a little steep. Opens Friday's and Saturdays. Would recommend trying the flying fish also the fish cakes
