Spectacular food and exceptional service. I attended a close friend’s wedding recently, and the food and service provided by the Shimla team were absolutely outstanding. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to ensure every guest was looked after. Their attention to detail and genuine care for everyone in attendance was remarkable. At no point did any guest seem to be left waiting for anything. The level of attentiveness and professionalism on display was truly second to none. In an age where exceptional service can be hard to find, the Shimla team delivered it effortlessly. As I was leaving, I made a point of speaking with Rik personally to tell him just how impressive his team had been. They should be incredibly proud of what they achieved. I genuinely cannot praise them highly enough.

Shimla foods was recommended by a friend and we were delighted with our whole experience with them. From start to finish we were impressed with how quickly we had a response and a discussion about what food we would like to have for a big milestone birthday party in Harpenden. On the day , they arrived in plenty of time to set up and organise themselves . The food was delicious and beautifully served on stainless steel thalis. The range of food was not only a culinary delight, but visually too ! People serving the food were professional and friendly, answering questions from some of our guests who had not tried some of the dishes before. I think my daughter could have eaten the entire chilli paneer !! The biriani, chicken curry and Manchurian cauliflower were great . We got many messages from our friends and family about how delicious the food was and the service was of a very high standard . The nicest comment was from my cousin who said "it was the best food he had ever had an event" ( and he has been too many Indian weddings and parties!). Ash and Rik were on hand to oversee things and catering staff cleared and cleaned the kitchen perfectly so we hardly had anything to do. The price was very reasonable too . We would be very happy to use them again and highly recommend them!Thank you Shimla catering!

We recently had the pleasure of exhibiting at Manor of Groves, an event organised by Shimla Foods, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The exhibition was extremely well organised, professionally managed, and attracted a fantastic crowd. Everything ran smoothly, with great attention to detail and a clear understanding of what both suppliers and clients need to make the day a success. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, creating real opportunities for meaningful connections. A truly professional team delivering high-quality events — and the food samples on the day were absolutely amazing too! We look forward to working with them again in the future. Highly recommended. Shimla foods came to my workplace to cater for a Diwali lunch. Everything was just perfect. The team were well organised, everything was set up with no issues, they were tidy, but most of all, the food was amazing. The team would explain the dishes to the staff (around 100-120) and everyone was so happy. After the event was finished, they left everything as nice and tidy. Such a great team, wonderful food and the management are very easy to work with. We will use them again and I hope I have the opportunity to use them for my own events! Sharing some photos too.

We received so many compliments regarding the food all our guests found it amazing and they said it was the best food they have ever had at an event. Ash and Deepak, thank you for making sure me and Nathan was okay during the night for topping up our drinks and just showing your professionalism and love we truly appreciated it and couldn’t have asked for any other caterers other than you. We would also like to take the time to say thank you to the bar staff, they did a really good job on the night.
