Taverna is the company to go to if you need scrumptious food! They catered for my daughter’s 21st birthday two days ago, and I have to say all their food was eaten up by the end of the evening. A lovely touch with the condiments, labels for the food, cutlery, and serviettes! Everyone commented how delicious the food was, I had quite a few foodies who usually turn their noses up to certain foods but not this time. Taverna Catering was the best caterer we could have ever hoped for at our wedding. We chose their Mediterranean buffet option, and all of our 100+ guests were very happy and full, with endless compliments saying the food was the best they had had at any wedding they had attended. All of the food we had – lemon chicken, vegetarian moussaka, falafel, hummus, tabbouleh and kale salad, pitta bread, and tiramisu – was absolutely amazing, so we gladly took all of the leftovers home for the days following the wedding. Despite various dietary requirements, including vegan, coeliac and food allergies, Francesco worked with us to ensure that our choice of mains and sides was inclusive of all our guests’ needs and helped to organise a tasting before the wedding for any feedback. The table set-up and decoration were impeccable, and the staff were warm and professional, helping with serving, as well as the collection of plates and cutlery, and the setting up and clearing away, all with minimal noise and a smile. We would, without any reservations, recommend Taverna Catering to anyone considering a wedding or special event/gathering. Thank you again to the team for doing such a fantastic job!

We booked Taverna for my wife’s 40th birthday and they did not disappoint. I’ve never booked catering before and I’ll be honest, they were the only company available. There online system for choosing food and staging your requirements is very user friendly and Giordano was always quick to respond to my questions. They seem very flexible in what they can offer but ultimately the food was delicious and I received a lot of compliments from my guests about the quality of food. Francesco was our man on the day, they arrived on time,set up exactly like what I had seen in the pictures and kept to the timings I had asked for. If you want quality Italian food cooked fresh on site then these are the guys to go to. I think the prices were very reasonable as well. We hired Taverna Catering for our summer soirée and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! I am the Event Coordinator at Deliveroo, so my expectations for food and logistics are pretty high, and Taverna exceeded them across the board. From start to finish, the entire team was exceptionally friendly and so easy to work with. They took all the stress out of planning and made the event seamless. The service on the day was top-tier, and the food was undeniably delicious. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about it! Taverna did an incredible job with our wedding! We went for canapes and the BBQ buffet and it was truly delicious and so well cooked. From start to finish they were so helpful, polite and went above and beyond- including helping to cut and serve the wedding cake as we did not have anyone else to do this. The guests loved the food and they were very flexible with options to make sure we had all our favourite options. Highly recommend.
