Chilli Pepper Event Catering

We recently used Chilli Pepper to cater for our wedding (canapés, wedding breakfast, evening food, manned bar). They have been exceptional throughout from the very first meeting with Nicola, the tasting with Martin and the event itself. The food on the day, led by Martin, was superb. It tasted exactly the same when cooked for 100 people as it did when we did the tasting for 2. They were very organised before/around the day with lots of good advice and practical solutions to any issues. The venue had some complexities (uneven ground + lots of steps!!) which Chilli pepper just dealt with. All the staff were brilliant, in particular Lou (the front of house manager on the day) who seemed to make everything run effortlessly. We have had many guests comment on the staff, food quality, organisation, bar team and those with allergies/intolerances were very impressed. From the moment I first spoke to Nicola I knew Chilli Pepper would be perfect for our wedding, Nicola was so open and honest with every question I had throughout the entire process. Nothing was too much trouble for them! On our tasting session everything was so delicious, and nicola and Martin were so flexible about any changes we would want to make to make it suit our day. In the lead up to the wedding Nicola was so helpful going through timings with me and reassuring me that everything is timed perfect and the day will run smoothly so I didn’t need to stress. The day before the wedding Martin and his team met us at the venue and they cracked straight on with the table set up, and was on call for anything we needed help with. On the morning of the wedding I gave my husband a list of things I needed him to do at the barn before he headed to the church and Martin took it off his hands and said don’t worry I will ensure it’s all done and he did which was very kind! The day was perfect, Martin was the first person I saw when I arrived at the venue and handed me my welcome drink. Everyone commented on how amazing the food was and how lovely Martin and his team was. I would highly highly recommend Chilli Pepper to anyone looking for a catering company. What a fantastic chef and team! Martin and Chilli Pepper catered our wedding. You could not ask for a better person and business to work with. We had some unusual menu requests including food from 4 continents as we wanted the food to represent the foods of our international upbringing. We wanted to serve our main course in some personalised tagines which we would then have washed and ready for guests to take away with them to remember the day by. I wasn't sure that all of this was going to be possible, but Martin and his team could not have been more accommodating and took each request in their stride without skipping a beat. Martin came up with a fantastic menu of both delicious and beautiful food which we received huge numbers of compliments for. He and his team also turned around the dishes on site and at speed so that everything was ready to take home by the end of the evening. We didn't have a wedding planner and additionally Martin used his experience of weddings to help keep other aspects of the day on track, all with a great deal of calmness and generosity. He did everything in his power to take stress away from us on the day and we are extremely grateful for all of his help. We will certainly use Chilli Pepper for any future catering needs and I would recommend them wholeheartedly for your events

Thank you for making our wedding day experience so good and easy😅! Everyone I’ve spoken to loved the food, and the wedding breakfast was fantastic. We have some very fussy beef eaters in the family and you somehow managed to please the ‘well done’ bunch, as well as those that enjoy it with a bit of pink! Bar staff were great as well, and I’m sure listening to us lot waffle on whilst under the influence was no easy task…. Thank you Nicola for reassuring both of us, I know it helped a lot with the pre wedding wobbles - seriously chilling pepper are more than a catering company in that respect. We used Chilli Pepper as the caterers for our wedding for the canapés and wedding breakfast. Ahead of the day, Nicola and Martin helped us tweak our menu to suit our own tastes. On the day we had many compliments from guests, especially for the blade of beef that had been slow cooked for many an hour! Guests with allergies were all catered for, even canapés, which I know they were all extremely grateful for. They also helped me surprise my husband with a sticky toffee pudding just for him as it’s his favourite desert (we’d chosen the chocolate delice for desert which was very delicious). Couldn’t have asked for anything more, the whole team at Chilli Pepper made the day run so smoothly with lots of tasty food!
