PJ Taste catered the wedding of our daughter Ruth to Leo in June 2026. We cannot recommend John, Tracy and the team more highly - fabulous food and great service. 140 people were served a wedding breakfast of barbecue and salad followed by fish and chips at 8pm. Sorry I didn’t get pictures of the food - we were too busy enjoying it!

Five-star service from start to finish. Food delivered in carefully packaged eco friendly boxes with a printed menu matching the food choices. Excellent quality food that is beautifully presented. Prompt with their responses to bookings and can always accommodate special requests. We will definitely continue to use this company for future conference buffets.

PJ Taste catered our wedding August 2023 and I can't recommend them enough. From start to finish working with them was an absolute delight. Tracy was so helpful and gave great advice before the wedding, when we had our initial meeting and taster session. During the wedding the team were brilliant. So polite and professional and you hardly noticed they were there. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. People are still mentioning it to us months later. I would wholeheartedly recommend them for any event. Tracy even helped me stay calm as a very nervous bride, which I am really grateful for. Many many thanks, from Ellyn & Jake.

PJ Taste catered for our British Society of Rheology "Mid-Winter Meeting" (December 2024, University of Sheffield) with circa ~70 attendees. Despite asking PJ Taste if they could work within a rather restrictive fixed budget per head since this was a charity event, they absolutely delivered with regards to our three sandwich lunches and five tea/coffee sessions: Indian snacks to expand the food range on offer, fancy cheese filled pastry things (sorry, I don't recall the name of them!) and especially trifle on the first day (which I didn't know was coming!) went down an absolute treat. Enough food was left over for colleagues and drop-in attendees to help themselves and the staff of PJ Taste were truly great to work with. PJ Taste are absolutely getting my recommendation for future events - the only disappointment was since I was organising the event, I hardly had time to try/eat as much of the delicious food as I'd hoped!

I recently went on my stag do with a group of 15 friends and on the second day was taken unaware, to Peter and his family’s beautiful home in the countryside surrounding Sheffield. As someone with a real passion for foraging, this day was a dream come true. As well as the foraging, Peter and his team catered to my second passion in life - pasta - with a wonderful pasta making experience. I’ve been on a few foraging courses but Peter’s knowledge about wildlife is second to none. He was wonderfully enthusiastic and engaging. The pasta experience was equally hands-on and exciting. As if that wasn’t enough, the team then catered a beautiful two course meal for the lads consisting of freshly made pasta followed by a some of the best pork I’ve ever eaten, all garnished with foraged bits. To wash it all down we were supplied with a constant drip of beer and mead, yes mead! It was delicious! Just when I thought the day couldn’t get any better Peter took me beekeeping. The outfit was one of the more flattering ones I wore that day! All in all I can’t thank Peter and his family enough for what was one of the most memorable days I’ve had. They were all amazingly hospitable and welcoming and I couldn’t recommend using his service or visiting his home enough. Thank you so much all.
