We couldn’t be happier with our wedding catering experience. The food was absolutely amazing. We were so impressed at the tasting and a little worried it might not be quite as good on a larger scale, but it was every bit as delicious on the day. The staff were attentive, friendly, and professional throughout, making everything run smoothly. The tasting process was easy and enjoyable, and the team were always easy to contact. They also handled a few last-minute changes with missing guests seamlessly, which really took the stress off us. The table setting was lovely. We decided not to use charger plates or any coloured additions, and it still looked beautiful alongside our table decorations and favours. Highly recommend. Incredible food, wonderful presentation, and fantastic service from start to finish.

We had Splinters for our wedding at Hedingham Castle 25.10.25. We felt looked after through the whole process from the tasting through to our wedding meal. Hayleigh was fantastic- very professional and responsive to every enquiry we had. The canapes were delicious and staff brought round a little platter just for us the Bride and Groom so we wouldn't miss any after our photo session which felt very special. It being October, we chose pies and wellingtons, and an apple pie for dessert- all were delivered hot and delicious. Lots of guests commented on how good the food was and how generous the portions were! We felt that we had a proper restaurant quality/ sized meal. Splinters were excellent at catering towards our Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten Free and Nut Free guests and were really easy to communicate on the topic of allergies. Staff were incredible, we felt the service was fantastic and everyone had everything they needed throughout the day. Definitely recommend!!

Splinters did the catering for our wedding and we were absolutely blown away by their services. From the moment we appointed them the customer service was excellent, they could not have been more helpful in tailoring their food offering to exactly what we wanted. The tasting appointment was very helpful and we were able to try lots of different food then and narrow down our choice. The quality and quantity of food they provided was excellent, our guests were very impressed and no one went hungry. Splinters were very accommodating in helping us get exactly what we wanted and put personal touches on the day. Highly recommend.

We used Splinters Caterers for our wedding at The Great Lodge, Great Bardfield in May this year. They were honestly fantastic throughout the whole process! The tasting was brilliant and really useful and most importantly the food was spot on. Their communication was super throughout the planning process and they were really helpful with planning and responsive to changes. Sally and Marie were so kind and helpful on a very stressful day before the wedding when I met them at the venue. On the day they were brilliant, all of the staff were so professional and friendly, ensuring our guests and ourselves were happy with everything and we had really fantastic reviews of the food and service! We hired Splinters Catering for our farm wedding on 14.06.2025, and they truly exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Our guests are still talking about it 🤣😂🤣 The staff were professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive throughout the evening. From our initial tasting to the final event, the team at splinters was responsive, organised, and flexible. They worked closely with us to design a custom menu that reflected our tastes and budget, and they were always transparent and easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend ⭐️
