We’ve visited Food by Sean multiple times over the years. The food is always fresh, well crafted, and delicious. The coffee is well made. The staff are very pleasant and attentive. The same staff have also been there a while, which is a good sign, and the owner is always very friendly. Today I chose to come here for my Birthday Breakfast, because I knew I’d have a lovely breakfast, and I wasn’t disappointed. Coming here is always a treat. A real favourite. 😊

We had a surprise afyernoon tea as a baby shower for my daughter in law here. Very warm welcome, the food was delicious and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and accomodating! Thank you so much for making the day special!

An incredible private dining experience from start to finish. The 4-course meal was beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Every course felt thoughtfully put together and paired perfectly with the wine and cocktails. A special mention to Sean and Nicola, who were fantastic hosts, warm, attentive, and made the whole evening feel relaxed and personal. The perfect balance of amazing food, drinks, and hospitality. Highly recommend for anyone looking for something special.

Just simply awesome. Reading other reviews is sometimes a mistake, as it was for this place. Some negative reviews commented that hot food was too hot, the stated one piece of toast turned up but they were expecting more, and that the food was like Wetherspoons. Not sure if the place had a bad day or just the usual attention-seeking entitled-reviewer syndrome. I take coffee black and unsweetened, the coffee here is great. The food took a while to arrive but was worth the wait. Everything was cooked to perfection, quality produce cooked well just can’t be beat. The service was equally as professional. I will be back.

We’ve been FBS fans for a while (those interiors, those bakes, those portions 👏), and this visit only reminded us why. 🍳 Regular Breakfast - butchers’ pork sausage, thick cut unsmoked bacon, flat mushroom, vine-on cherry tomatoes, hash brown, egg your way, a pot of Heinz beans & a slab of toast with Welsh butter. A proper hearty plate – the definition of comfort food. 🥚 Four Egg Omelette - filled with cheddar, mushrooms & bacon, served with fresh salad and slaw. Fluffy, packed with flavour, and a portion size that’ll definitely keep you going. 👶 Child’s Breakfast – scrambled egg, beans & bloomer toast. Perfectly simple, and very well received by my little one! 🇫🇷 Pistachio & Raspberry French Toast - with a gorgeous creamy pistachio creme, the punchy raspberries, it’s a good blend of flavours! 💛 Everything was spot on: generous, hearty and exactly what you want from a breakfast out. 🍫 And of course, I couldn’t leave without raiding that sweet counter (it was looking too good 👀). The chocolate & caramel sponge came home with me and WOW – rich, gooey, and absolutely stunning. 🌟 Food by Sean never misses – whether it’s breakfast, lunch or a cheeky cake stop, they’ve nailed the comforting, homely vibe with a polished finish. Already looking forward to my next visit!
