RJCC Events

Rory and RJCC events did a fantastic job for Balliol College May Ball 2025. In the months before the Ball, Rory was incredibly professional and accommodating of all our requests. RJCC was able to deliver an amazing quality of production for a competitive price far better than anyone else. In the set up for the Ball, RJCC were seamless, able to work independently and without any issues, even able to fulfil very last minute requirements. They took creative initiative, positioning lighting in the best places without us having to direct them. On the night itself, everyone was impressed by their portable nightclub package which gave the main stage awesome lighting, a smoke machine, and strobe effects that elevated every act. Overall, would highly recommend to any College Balls or other big events. These guys are professionals.

Rory and the RJCC Events team did an incredible job with sound, lighting and DJing at our wedding! They thought of everything, made the event look amazing (in an Oxford College which can be challenging given the old buildings and high ceilings) and had everyone of all ages dancing. We could not recommended them more highly!

A massive thank you to Rory and the whole team for making our wedding so special. Every part of the production: the stage, the lights, and especially the music, it completely blew me away and I could barely leave the dancefloor. Rory's DJ set was incredible, and I’m so grateful for all your hard work and support in helping make our wedding such a magical and unforgettable day. I honestly had no idea it would be on that level, and you made it everything I could have dreamed of.

Absolutely brilliant DJ! Rory recently DJd for our son's 21st birthday party and the dance floor was heaving all night long. The music was excellent, appealed to all ages and the lighting etc were all first rate. The feedback from our son's friends has been fantastic, for example "Of all the DJs hired for parties, the guys you had were easily the best". I can't recommend RJCC highly enough plus Rory was super efficient to work with in the lead up.

Having run a number of events in the Oxford, Berkshire Hampshire areas, I have come to realise that trust and reliability are the most important elements in dealing with event production companies. I may think that I know what I want - but every venue holds it’s own peculiarities and it is here when you need a trusted professional, who can tell you what you really need. Last weekend, we had to create a nightclub in a large inflatable Dome structure. I knew I wanted something incredible but… normal DJ lighting doesn’t work in a dome. Normal rigging also doesn’t work. In fact only technical professionals can sort out exactly how to spec the most appropriate lighting, sound, rigging and power to create a fantastic effect. I would like to recommend RJCC Events, who went the extra mile from pre-planning, identifying the technical requirements, designing the lighting scenes and delivering a fantastic DJ nightclub on the night (complete with generator and backups). Looking back, I shudder to think that I was imagining that I could have just booked a local mobile DJ. Thank God I didn’t. The professionalism, reassurance and excellent final result made me very grateful that I was dealing with RJCC. Rory and his team are well-known already for running some of the most prestigious Oxford May Balls and parties and their client list is long. Before you consider using ‘a man with a van and a disco unit’ option for your next party, and if you want a truly memorable event, please consider using the professionals. RJCC Events. Your party will go down in history.
