The Potting Shed

Highly recommend for wedding events and parties in the upstairs function room. It was perfect for our evening wedding party of 70 people. From the time we made our first inquiries for our evening wedding party to after the event, the team at the Potting Shed couldn’t have been more helpful and capable. Special thanks to Kim. They helped with menu selections, table seating design, how best to manage a free bar for our guests, timings for serving food, accommodating the DJ, photo booths and the company who dressed the room, right up to the packing away of our decorations and organizing collection of items afterwards. Whoever packed the box- wow! It came back to us impeccably with such care taken...thank you! The venue itself was perfect for our needs and we were proud to celebrate our wedding with our friends and family there. The room looked amazing, the food was plentiful and received great reviews from everyone, and the bar and tables were managed impeccably by Lilly, Anneka and Jake who managed to keep the bar wait-free and tables clear at all times. Thank you to the managers, bar staff and kitchen staff at the Potting Shed. You exceeded our expectations.

Popped in to try the new menu that we saw on Facebook. Absolutely brilliant meal, highlights were definitely the pesto and nduja potatoes, and the honeyracha chicken burger, but to be fair everything was top quality. Service was great, Sheridan looked after us really well and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend going it to try their new menu, 5 stars across the board.

Fantastic new menu with lots of new tasty treats to try. Hunters chicken, burger and cookie dough pudding all delicious!!! We also had a few of the small tapas dishes to start all equally as tasty. Excellent venue, food and staff !!!

We had the side lounge room booked for an afternoon hen do . They were so helpful over email before hand and so accommodating for a last minute plan ! They booked the room out from opening so we could decorate the room before and roped it off so we had our own section. They let us move furniture around to accommodate the party and left is too it with no pressure and felt like a great relaxing afternoon ! The venue is so pretty and the food was great and we just had a great time ! Thankyou and would highly recommend 🥰

Called in on a whim after a search of local places to eat. Suprised by the nice decor with a potting shed theme and great seating choices from views over the sports field to snug seating. Food was great, well presented, hot and of good quality. Service was very good and the member of staff that served us both drinks and food was very pleasant. I'm sure this is popular with locals who want a nice meal out but if you are passing it's definitely worth a visit.
