Urban Central Sounds

We hired Mel & Carmen for our engagement party and Mel literally made our night! The music was amazing and Mel was so lovely and easy to work with! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a Dj. He made sure that we had all the music we loved and the QR cards were a lovely touch for everyone that wanted to request a song! The set up was amazing and communication before the event was good as well! I can’t thank them enough for making our evening! Everyone loved the music and had the best time!

Mel was very easy to work with. He was very thorough in talking us through his approach, very organised and made sure he knew the venue ahead of time, without needing any prompting from us. He’s a very safe pair of hands to entrust your wedding evening to. He kept us all dancing away until the venue shut, lots of guests commented on how great the evening was including the DJ. Would definitely recommend. Brilliant value for money.

Mel & Carmen played at our wedding last summer and it was one of the best parties I have ever been too! We wanted a DJ who could cater to a multitude of musical tastes they did not disappoint! I still listen to the mix even to this day. They were warm, friendly, knowledgable and professional. They worked with our venue on all the logistical items and we didn't have to worry about a thing. I would highly recommend Urban Central Sounds 😉

Mel did a great job as DJ at my grandad’s homegoing service. He was very professional during the whole process making sure he had an outline of what we required/ timings and set up. He had all equipment including microphones we didn’t have to think about anything.Mel was all set up on time ready, we’ll definitely consider him for our future events and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a dj. He was recommended by my brother Liam. Thanks again Mel

Mel and Carmen are a great team. They did a super party for us in 2018, and we were delighted to have them back to DJ a small garden party for us this summer. The music was fab and they are a pleasure to work with. Mel is very professional in fielding the more unusual music requests!

Wow! Mel and Carmen were the absolute heroes of our wedding in July. From our initial meeting to the party, Mel and Carmen were utterly incredible. The dancefloor was packed from the second Mel starting playing and we've had countless friends ask how we found them. BOOK THEM IMMEDIATELY! We can't wait for an excuse for a party again soon, so we can have them play again. Thank you x1000000 you total legends! x

Mel and Carmen were excellent - great communication before the event, great setup and really professional too. Then on the night itself they were brilliant, really getting the crowd going and also accommodating my probably quite sloppy requests with a smile... Can highly recommend!
