Downham (Wesley Halls) Community Centre

This Taekwondo group is unique, ergo; once attended it will never be forgotten. I've been bringing my boy here for the past ten years and his twin sister for eight years. Their master tutor is recognised in a international capacity. In those ten years both my children have surpassed my expectations and still to this day, they continue to do so. Please watch the videos gaze at the pictures and be inspired...

I booked the Middle Hall at Wesley Hall for my daughter's first birthday on 6th June 2026, and we had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The hall was clean, spacious, and perfect for our celebration. Everyone had a wonderful time, and the day was truly memorable for our family. This was my first time booking with Wesley Hall, and I am so glad I chose it. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout the process, making everything easy and stress-free. Their professionalism and kindness made us feel comfortable and well looked after. Thank you to the team at Wesley Hall for helping make my daughter's special day such a success. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a great place to host a family celebration or event. We will definitely consider booking again in the future! 😊

Not being biased, but the best taekwondo taught class takes place here every Tuesdays and Thursdays since 1982... great location and space too 👏🏽👏🏽 Tuesdays @ 6:30pm - come and take a look, children and adults, beginners and the experienced!

Great gym, lots of machines to use. A very clean environment, very well - manned. Very friendly and helpful staff. I am a support worker with s/users and we are encouraging our people to join the gym. Many thanks for a great welcome.

It offers all sorts of classes for people with disabilities and without. But the building is old and very cold in the winter months and could do with some fixing up

Brilliant super truly a community centre caters for people and truly run for non profit by a few people many who do voluntary work for the benefit of people using the centre.
