the Hi-Life DJ Agency (Sheffield & Derbyshire Region)

Highly recommended! Mark and Darren gathered all the information they needed to give us a perfect wedding disco, using their online planner. On the night, Darren was a fantastic DJ - all the right tracks at all the right times to keep us and our guests dancing the night away. Both charming and helpful, too.

BOOK THESE GUYS!! We contacted Mark to organise a DJ for our wedding reception, and he put us in touch with Darren. They were both super quick to respond and polite. Their online system for logging what kind of songs you want and don’t want, genres you like and don’t like, etc was awesome and easy to use. On the night, Darren was awesome. We got so many compliments about him! In particular, what we loved was that every generation seemed to love him - he judged the mood and the crowd perfectly and got everybody dancing, from kids to grandparents. He also dealt with our special requests really well, and was very flexible with last minute requests and changes. We can’t recommend them enough. They MADE the party for us. Awesome. Thanks guys!

I recently booked Darren at hi-life for my mrs' 40th birthday party (90s theme) and the whole experience of dealing with him and Mark was brilliant. From their responsive approach at the start, assistance with trying to book a saxophonist, their superb online music planner which allows you to tailor the playlist based on decade, genres or individual tracks, the build up was really great. The night itself was amazing. A mix of balearic beats to start, some 90s pop and indie classics before some dance classics to the hands in the air! We finished with a few sing-a-longs and the set was amazing, brilliantly put together by Darren and the feedback from everyone who came was that it was a great party all round. Would highly recommend for birthdays, weddings, corporate events, etc. Cheers
