Smiles Ahead Mobile DJ

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding DJ! Thank you Simon. From our very first conversation to the last song of the night, everything was handled professionally and with such enthusiasm. The music was absolutely perfect and created an amazing atmosphere. Simon really listened to what we wanted, got the balance just right, and made our wedding feel so personal and special. The sound quality, lighting, and seamless transitions between songs were all fantastic. Thank you for helping make our wedding day so memorable. We would highly recommend you. Donna and Russ

DJ Simon was absolutely amazing at my daughter’s 3rd birthday party! The kids had so much fun, he kept them entertained with great games, fun activities, and a perfect mix of songs that the little ones loved. He brought such great energy and made the whole event run smoothly. All the parents were impressed, and my daughter had the best time. Highly recommend for any children’s party!

We booked Simon for a 50th birthday party in the function room of our local pub, he was really helpful, friendly and responsive during the organisation for the party, I would highly recommend him! We were able to send a list of suggested songs and Simon built on that to create a fantastic evening for our family and friends! Many thanks Simon!

For our recent joint 40th birthday party we used Smiles Ahead Mobile DJ for the evening and we were not disappointed. Prior to the booking Simon the DJ called to check about access arrangements at the venue and to check if we had any song requests. On the day Simon was very professional, very friendly and played some brilliant music! We couldn't have asked him for anymore. We would definitely use again and would highly recommend to anyone.

I just did a Google search of DJs in derby, I recieved a few quotes and found the most reasonable. Emails were professional, quotes done and sent over all the correct paper work for the venue ( it's not about the cheapest) it's about who sounds professional to me. Simon rang us the week before the party to go over a few details play list if we had one this was optional. My daughter being very into music made a 9 hour play list. To which Simon played as much as possible. The volume was great the added lights around the room. He had the crowd up dancing. Very engaging all night. We all had an amazing time celebrating my daughters 21st. We will use again for the next party.
