Daryl made booking our wedding DJ such an easy and fun experience. His personality is absolutely infectious, and he went above and beyond to find us a saxophonist at the last minute. We had the BEST time on the dancefloor, and we’re so grateful to Daryl for bringing the party to life! He also nailed the confetti cannon perfectly during our first dance, creating such a magical moment. We couldn’t recommend him highly enough!

A 5 star review? Its just not enough to even begin to say how amazing Daryl at Sweet Vibe Events is!! We initially had a different DJ booked for our wedding but after coming across Daryl on social media and seeing several clips of other wedding events he had DJ’d for we just knew we had to have him for our wedding too! We booked Daryl from our wedding breakfast right through to the evening party. Daryls energy and BIG personality made our day complete and we honestly couldn’t of asked for more. Our family and friends thought we personally knew Daryl because of how socialable and great he was with us and our guests! He wasn’t just our DJ he was part of our family for the day. The music and vibes were incredible throughout, from Acoustic music at our sit down meal to Drum and Bass later on in the evening. Daryl did not disappoint 😍. Our guests LOVED IT! Even our parents were on the dance floor till late ( even later than us lol ) We still talk about our day and so do our friends and family, were even talking about booking a venue for our 1 year anniversary and having Daryl back 😂. We originally had another DJ booked and after seeing Daryl at a family members wedding we knew straight away that we just had to have him for our big day! And honestly, it was the absolute best decision that we made! The dancefloor was packed all night long. Daryl knew exactly what everyone wanted and played banger after banger! We had the best party and still receive comments on how great the music was! You realise when planning a wedding that this is often just a job to your suppliers but honestly with Daryl you can so clearly see it’s more than that.. he absolutely loves it. His vibe was immaculate and got everyone in the mood! I’d recommend him a thousand times over! Thank you for making our night so perfect ❤️

Daryl.. Sweet Vibes.. What can I say.. Out of all the suppliers we had at our wedding, who were all INCREDIBLE, this has got to be one of the hardest reviews I have had to write because I just do not have the words to describe just how AMAZING Daryl is!!! But I will try.. From the very first phone call I had with Daryl, I was explaining to him what it was that we wanted for our big day, bearing in mind, this would have been 2 years before the date. We ended up being on the phone for around 45 minutes just talking about music and what we loved and the image that we had for our day. When I tell you I came off the phone that day absolutely buzzing, it was another level. I knew from that moment, that we had done the right thing in securing him. We wanted the entire day to just be a massive party, from start to finish. We decided to book Daryl for the ENTIRE day. What DJ do you know that will be there from the minute guests start to arrive, to the last person to probably leave the venue, and be on a constant high (because if that’s what you are looking for, look no further). We got married on the 5th of September 2025 at The Old Kent Barn and Daryl had never worked there before, so this was all very new to him as well (not that you would ever have known!). The venue had also never had a wedding where the DJ had been there for the day, the venue normally provide/play all the ceremony and drinks reception music for the couple, which is amazing, but we wanted to bring that next level! Our guests are still talking about it now. It was giving.. Ibiza beach party comes to Folkestone. I generally don’t think I saw anyone sitting down. The process could not have been easier, I had to complete an online form before our wedding with all of our ceremony music, the types of music we wanted for the drinks reception and wedding breakfast, I could add a list of songs on there that we wanted to be played to songs that we didn’t want to be played, which was all easy to do and then just before the wedding we had a phone call with Daryl (that lasted over an hour) just discussing the day and how we wanted it to go. Again, another phone call we both left on cloud 9 absolutely buzzing for the big day! My biggest nightmare for our wedding was that the dancefloor was going to be dead, everyone would just be gathered in the bar and that people would leave early because they were bored. We have been to weddings before where the DJ just doesn’t read the crowd, they just flick from one song to the next, there is no real flow, one song will be good, and everyone gets up to start dancing and the next is awful and you have to sit back down again. I explained this to Daryl and he assured me, that would not be the case, and having spoken to him leading up to the wedding, I knew he was right! All I can say is that our guests were searching for their flipflops during the drinks reception! The dancefloor was absolutely PACKED all night, and the photos prove that! You can see that he is just absolutely living his best life and that absolutely spreads onto the dancefloor. If you are not booking Daryl for your wedding, then I am sorry but it just will not be as good! When I say he made my wedding dreams come true.. This man is an absolute genius. Vibes, vibes and more vibes ALL day!! I could carry on talking about just how insane he is, but I will run out of characters!!! Please, if you do anything today as a bride or groom to be, PLEASE book this man for your special day, it’ll be the best thing you ever do!!! Thank you, Daryl, for making our day one that people will continue to talk about for years to come and quite literally, the best day of our lives! We love you!!! We honestly couldn’t recommend Sweet Vibe Events enough. From the moment we came across their social media and started reading their reviews, we had a feeling they were going to be the perfect choice for our wedding at Swynford Manor and we were absolutely right. We had been searching for suppliers for several months when we reached out, and Darryl arranged a video call with us. His energy was electric from the very beginning, and we actually booked him there and then without any hesitation. The communication from start to finish was amazing, and we always felt completely looked after. When it came to the music, we genuinely couldn’t have asked for more. We gave Darryl full control of the evening, and he absolutely smashed it. From just a few messages and calls getting to know us, he somehow managed to completely understand the sort of music we liked without us even having to give him a any playlists. His ability to read the crowd throughout the entire night was impeccable. The dance floor was never empty, not for a single moment! He knew exactly what to play and when to play it, and the atmosphere he created was incredible. The DJ setup and lighting looked fantastic too, and everything about the evening was just perfect. Darryl played a huge part in making our wedding night so memorable, and we genuinely couldn’t have chosen anyone better. If you’re looking for a wedding DJ, we would recommend Sweet Vibe Events without hesitation. You won’t regret it!
