Absolutely amazing!! Having Glyn as our celebrant and piper for our elopement on Isle of Skye was truly magnificent. He went above and beyond and made our day even more magical. He truly captured our story as if he'd known us for years and perfectly weaved in the story of the land and traditions. We left song choices up to him and I cannot state enough how beautiful it was. As a former Highland dancer my only request was that he play a Highland Fling at the end which he did spectacularly. Definitely the best piper I have had the pleasure of seeing play. Highly, HIGHLY recommend hiring Glyn for your events!!

We had Glyn play the bagpipes at our wedding ceremony and he was absolutely fantastic. He brought such an amazing atmosphere to the castle and really made the whole experience feel incredibly special and memorable. The music was beautiful and created the perfect tone for the day. Glyn also looked fantastic and added so much to the overall feel and occasion – so many of our guests commented on how brilliant he was. We’re so grateful he was part of our wedding and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a talented and professional piper.

We cannot thank Glyn and his drummer enough for coming to the rescue of Uphall Gala Day at very short notice after we were unexpectedly let down by our booked pipe band. From the first message, communication was fantastic. Glyn was friendly, professional and incredibly helpful, making a stressful situation feel much more manageable. On the day, both Glyn and his drummer were outstanding. They led our parade beautifully and the feedback from the committee and the public has been amazing. Comments included "The piper and drummer were brilliant!" and "Definitely ones to get booked for next year." What really stood out was how willing they were to go the extra mile. They even stayed on to pipe our Gala Queen from her car and up to the stage, which wasn't expected but was hugely appreciated and added something really special to the day. They were a pleasure to work with, sounded fantastic, and helped make our Scotland-themed Gala Day feel complete. I emailed Glyn last year and was going to come to Edinburgh last year but we had a new family member being born a ( granddaughter), and when I told Glyn this he told me to let him know when we when would be coming in 2026 and he would still do our renewal. We were soo grateful that he was still able to renew our vows this year Glyn is hands down one of the most professional, down to earth people ever. My dream was to do a renewal of vows in Edinburgh "Outlander" style, we got remarried and Glyn handfasted us the biggest surprise was that Glyn played in bagpipes as we went into the Kirk but then played The Skyboat song for us. I can tell you I was in awe. From the ceremony being about every detail about us and the love we have for each other to the personal touches, like the song, the handfasting, the drinking from the quaich Glyn made our day, one to remember for the rest of our lives. Glyn is an absolute rock star! My now husband Chris and I are from the US. We went to Scotland for the first time in October 2024 and decided to turn the trip into an elopement. When we started planning, we had no clue how to make a ceremony happen. Chris is very proud of his Scottish roots and I have been in bagpipe bands for over twenty years. When I found Glyn’s website it was a no brainer. I had to reach out to him. Glyn was amazing to work with and stayed in communication with us despite the different time zones. At the time Chris and I lived in different parts of the US. Glyn suggested St Anthony’s Chapel for the ceremony which, wow, BEAUTIFUL. He also recommended a really awesome photographer Archie McFarlane. The pictures were stunning! Glyn’s ceremony was wonderful. He’s witty, funny, and an absolute gem. Glyn plays the pipes beautifully. He’s honestly one of, if not THE best piper I’ve heard play in my lifetime. When the ceremony was over it was dark. Glyn offered us a ride back to the hotel. Glyn played at our wedding in House for an Art Lover, in Glasgow, in February this year. He was absolutely fantastic in both presentation and skill and the addition of the small pipes to accompany the bridal party down the aisle was so fitting for our beautiful, intimate venue. His toast to begin our wedding breakfast and end his duties as our piper was outstanding, we couldn’t have wished for a more skilled or professional musician to be part of our special day.
