Rossharbour Resort

Stayed here for the 3rd on Wednesday and think it’ll be the last time. Got an amazing deal on 2 3 course meals and a lakeside suite. Room was absolutely lovely, went for food both girls didn’t know how to smile. Place was empty so food should be good? Wrong. Forgot my bread for the prawn starter had to ask for that. Had to send my steak back asked for medium rare it came out well done. Brought another one out couldn’t be bothered with the hassle but would have sent that back to. Also didn’t lift my partners steak so I had to watch her eat hers and vice Versa, the steak itself seemed like the tempered frozen steaks you buy from the likes off Lynas they were very grey and something I haven’t seen in 13 years cooking in th kitchen. Also still had a cheek to charge me for it. Got back to the room jumped in the hot tub also was perfect there went to go to sleep and hear the shower leaking couldn’t get that to stop that couple with the thin mattress it was an awful sleep won’t be returning. Super fast and lovely service at restaurant, the rooms were compact but clean and still spacious, location had a lovely view, the lake did have lots of algae but that can’t be prevented. Paddle boarding was very enjoyable and fun, despite there being to many bugs in the water so I didn’t swim, again that can’t be prevented. Overall very quiet calming and enjoyable stay.

We had the most amazing wedding day at Ross Harbour, and I cannot thank the team enough for making it so special. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The food was simply fabulous, and every guest commented on how delicious it was. The staff were outstanding throughout the day, always attentive, friendly, and willing to help with anything we needed. A special mention must go to Caroline, who was incredible. She truly went above and beyond for us and couldn't have done enough to make sure everything ran smoothly. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made such a difference and helped make our day completely stress-free. Our wedding was nothing short of magical, and the entire Ross Harbour team played a huge part in creating memories that we will cherish forever. We are so grateful for all the hard work, care, and dedication that went into making our day perfect. We will definitely be returning in the future for a relaxing stay and to relive some wonderful memories. Thank you again to everyone at Ross Harbour for giving us the wedding of our dreams!
