The Budget Globetrotter

Reopened on the 18th December following a refurbishment, and reopened under the Black Country Ales brand. I’m in awe of what they’ve done to the place. As soon as you walk in, you’re met with incredible decor, photos of Cradley all over the walls, a gorgeous open fire, lots of space, a huge selection of ales and a completely redone smoking area with heaters. There’s a new and well lit darts area too. The new owners are incredibly friendly, introducing themselves and ensuring everyone is having a great time. The place is affordable and no longer selling food as it’s a locals pub. It’s perfect, they’ve done a great job.

Went here for a meal after a wedding. Was really great food! All come out piping hot, there was around 20 of us... some had starters and some didnt but everything came out hot... always someone behind the bar serving drinks. Very pleasant staff always smiling and having a good chat!! Recommend

Would be nicer if they offered food. However they do lovely filled crusty cobs and bar snacks like crisps. New owners are lovely. You can bring dogs along. Worth a visit as it's a nice relaxed pub on the quieter side.

Came here to do a catch up with family. Very popular local pub and great food. The Turkey, Ham and Leek pie was brilliant and so much. Completely stuffed - will come again soon. So two years later they have done a refurb and it looks the business with energetic new owners.

Was really quiet in there but it was a Tuesday night. Went for my dad's 80th birthday. The staff were really friendly and did everything they could to welcome us. Had a selection of meals which were all tasty. Would definitely recommend and would go again. Thank you to the 3 ladies that made the celebration a great family evening

Went last night, having never been before. Its a quaint pub with a roaring fire on in the bar and a happy family atmosphere. We ordered our meals.and had 3 courses, each one was delicious, hot and excellent portions. The price is great and service friendly, and attentive, asking if all was OK. We will definitely return and highly recommend to all !! Thanks so much 😊 Note car parking very small nearby only enough for 4 cars but plenty of spaces nearby roads.
