Hootananny Brixton

Loved it! It's noisy because of the live music downstairs, but the atmosphere and location make up for that. Also, the staff (Jools and Veronica in my case) were super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend it for solo female travelers, because it's just off a main road and they have female only rooms.

I love the Hootananny pub. A great programme of live music and a fun clientele. However, I have been a couple of times and the barmen with the black hoodie constantly up always is disinterested and off hand when arriving you. He really spoils the mood! Please put on a hospitality training course! Please!!

Went to watch the FOOTBALL and it was great! Big screens outside and inside, and more importantly, a load of energy. Very cheap tickets at £8 considering you got a couple of DJs and a live band throughout - you can buy table space, but tickets are more expensive, and I like standing tbf.

Bunk beds could do with privacy curtains and a shelf to put your phone on while it charges, and the lockers could be bigger, otherwise a great hostel! Stayed for a festival in Brockwell Park so it was really convenient! Definitely pack earplugs though, the bar is noisy (as in shake the walls noisy) until 3am

Went to watch Scotland match and it was great! Energy from everyone was absolutely amazing, bar staffs were quick and friendly, definitely going watch all World Cup matches here!

We had an incredible evening! The food was bursting with fresh flavors, perfectly seasoned, and the service was warm and attentive. This restaurant has quickly become one of our favorites!

Dear Manager, I am writing to make a formal complaint regarding my recent experience at your pub. I was extremely disappointed by both the level of customer service and what appeared to be inconsistent pricing for drinks. During our visit, we ordered what we believed to be exactly the same drinks on two separate occasions. The first round came to £76, while the second came to £90. When we questioned this significant difference, we were given no satisfactory explanation. On top of this, we were left with the impression that we had been charged for double measures but served what appeared to be single measures. Naturally, this raised serious concerns about whether we had received what we had paid for. Rather than addressing our concerns professionally, the managers we spoke to were dismissive, rude and unhelpful. As paying customers, we expected our concerns to be taken seriously and explained respectfully. Instead, we were made to feel as though our questions were an inconvenience. The combination of inconsistent pricing, concerns about the measures being served, and the attitude of management has left us feeling that we were treated unfairly. It has completely undermined our confidence in your establishment, and it is certainly not an experience I would expect from a reputable venue. I would appreciate a full explanation for the pricing discrepancy, clarification regarding the measures served, and confirmation of how you intend to address this complaint. I also hope appropriate steps will be taken to improve the standard of customer service provided by your management team. I look forward to your response. Yours faithfully, Rita
