I had a very disappointing experience at Eltham Sky Bar. From the moment we walked in, we felt pressured to buy drinks straight away, which immediately made the atmosphere uncomfortable. During the rest of our visit, my friends and I continued to feel repeatedly pressured to buy more drinks, taking away from what should have been an enjoyable night out. Rather than feeling welcome as customers, we felt that there was an expectation to keep spending money throughout the evening. What frustrated me most was the way we felt we were treated when we didn't want to purchase additional drinks. The interaction came across as dismissive and unprofessional, leaving a very negative impression of the venue. The food was also extremely disappointing. We waited around an hour just for churros, and when they finally arrived, they were dry and not worth the wait at all. A good bar should make customers feel comfortable regardless of how much they choose to spend. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. As a result, I won't be returning, and I will be warning my friends about the experience my group had here. Based on our visit, this was one of the most unpleasant nights out we've had, and I cannot recommend the venue.

Customer service should focus on making guests feel welcome, not pressured. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression, and I would not recommend this venue to others.

We felt that customers were being judged based on how much money they were spending, which is not what anyone expects when going out for a night with friends. There were also issues regarding entry and bookings that left us feeling frustrated and confused. From our perspective, the explanations given did not match what we witnessed, and this only added to the negative experience. What should have been a pleasant night out turned into a frustrating and uncomfortable experience. The way we felt treated left a very poor impression, and as a result I would not return. I will certainly be sharing my experience with friends so they can make their own decision before visiting. Based on my experience, customer service, professionalism, and respect for patrons were all seriously lacking.

I absolutely loved my visit! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — you can really taste the quality in every bite. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, perfect for a laid-back meal with friends or even a quiet solo lunch. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive, which made the whole experience even better. Nice outside terrace too, highly recommend if you’re looking for great food in a relaxed, cozy setting

Pressure to buy a drink starts as soon as you walk in, before you’ve even had a chance to settle down and get comfortable. We ordered food, which took around an hour to arrive, and throughout our visit staff kept pushing us to buy more drinks or leave. The owner was particularly rude and dismissive. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was that it felt like we were being racially profiled. Our group was repeatedly told to purchase more drinks, while other customers around us were not being treated the same way. Knowing I bought atleast minimum 4 drinks you can check that on your cctv I have my bank records for evidence Later, we were told we had to leave because they supposedly had another booking, yet other tables were allowed to remain. The way we were singled out and spoken to was disappointing and made us feel unwelcome. Overall, the service was poor, the atmosphere was uncomfortable, and the treatment we received was unacceptable. I would not recommend this place and will not be returning.

I had my 50th birthday gathering here. My friends and I had a great time and enjoyed the food, cocktails and the DJ. The bar is relaxed and friendly, and staff professional and helpful, promptly responding to all my email questions. I would definitely go back .

Such lovely, friendly staff in here. Willing to chat to people, not just serve drinks etc. The food is delicious. We've had pizza and chips in here both times we've been in and both times it was pukka. Can't wait to go again.
