Hired for my brother's funeral, it was a medium sized west-indian do. Before the funeral I sent a list of songs my brother liked, hip-hop, drum and bass etc. what we got was UB40 and Peter Andre! Several people tried to help him with the music as he didn't have a clue. He said that the lyrics of the songs we had selected were too explicit, surely this could have been discussed before the event. When I look back at the day, this is one of things that still stings. If you don't know the music or want to invest the time to get radio edits, or even read the whole list, which contains songs like " the best things in life are free - Janet and Luther" ( super positive song , no swearing), then don't say you can. Happy to take the money and eat the food though, can't deny he was a decent guy, so I don't mind too much. But all in all generic x
