Cornishman

We organised a New Year’s Eve party here. The staff was extremely friendly and was so accommodating in anything we needed. We were allowed to go and decorate at any time which was convenient for us. The dj was amazing and kept the dance floor full all night. Will definitely be booking again for future events x

Great service all round. I hired the function room and Trish was very helpful and accommodating especially being a very last minute booking! Great bar staff Thankyou! Will definitely book in the near future☺️

We held my son’s 16th birthday party here earlier on this month. It is extremely hard to find somewhere that will host a bunch of 16 year old’s the only thing the Cornishman needed to know was that there was enough adults to supervise them. Trish who I booked the room with was amazing! Plenty of extras to add in if you wanted to like DJ & catering. We booked the DJ through the pub and he was amazing. We all had such an amazing night. The room was big enough to hold all of us it was lovely and clean & the staff were amazing. We had use of the room all day to set up the balloons and buffet which was great. I would defo book with The Cornishman again for a function.

Had a brilliant time here! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was spot on. Exactly what you want from a local pub. What really made the experience, though, was the staff. They were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which made me right at home. I had a fantastic experience and will be back again! Kiera Was on shift being a brilliant bar staff making sure I felt I welcome and at home while being served. Both Kiera and her coleague macey made sure I didn't feel like I had to be alone introduced me to a few of the regulars so I didn't feel like I had to sit alone and felt like an "outsider"

Philosophy Friday is amazing, deep and rewarding. I walked away a new man, it all makes sense now
