The Millgate Pub

Food was amazing. Allergies are taken very seriously & attention to detail to make sure everything was safe for me. My order was double checked to ensure was suitable before payment. Staff knowledgeable was superb. Staff are friendly & welcoming to all & share their knowledge about drink choices. We had a great night last night, like every time we go here it is a great place. We will definetly be back. A* to the Millgate team.

Hired the function room for our birthday party at the Millgate. Staff couldn't do enough for us to make it an amazing night. Buffet was fantastic as was the music from the resident DJ. Atmosphere great. Made it a night to remember!

Enjoyed a lovely meal with a few friends. Had the cheese and onion pie myself it was delicious all food came out hot & everyone enjoyed their meals. Staff were wonderful & friendly & going the extra mile. Would definitely recommend!

I’ve eaten here a few times and was really hoping to give this place 5 stars, as my previous visits have been excellent. Sadly, this visit was a little disappointing. The fries and onion rings didn’t seem fresh, and the chicken burger was quite bland. The cheese sauce also lacked flavour. On the plus side, the jalapeños were definitely hot 🔥, and the coleslaw was really tasty. The chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream the brownie was dry and the cream was Tasteless The service was a little slow, but the staff remained polite, friendly, and welcoming throughout. It’s a little on the pricey side, but this one experience wouldn’t put me off coming back. I’m hoping this was just an off day, as I’ve enjoyed my previous visits and would happily give them another chance.

We have been to a few family party’s here now and they’ve always looked after us really well. Good selection of well kept drinks and always served with a smile. The buffets have always been high quality whether hot or cold.
