A unique space on the hills overlooking the sea in Margate. Staff was genuinely friendly and service was unusually fast. Food was good, special mention for the deep fried devilled eggs. At 2130-ish the dining space transforms into a ~250 person club hosting some amazing DJs. Leftfield and Hot Chip of late. And a Funktion-One system! IYKYN. Recommended!

This place far exceeded my expectations. The kitchen does modern British food really well. Everything was excellent. Good ingredients, well-balanced dishes, generous portions and lovely service. We had fried devilled eggs with caviar, followed by chilled courgette soup and crab focaccia. Our mains - chicken salad and mushroom with cracked wheat - were both really well composed with lots of fresh herbs and generous quantities of chicken and mushrooms. The room is tastefully decorated, with one side looking out to sea and an amazing view of the sunset. The sound system is excellent. I’d put this in my top three dinner spots in Margate.

A hidden gem in Margate that absolutely blew me away. From the moment I walked in, the vibes were immaculate. The food was next level – fresh, beautifully plated, and packed with flavour (props to the chef!). The cocktails? Dangerous. Too easy to drink, too good to stop. But what really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. As the sunset poured in over Margate, the whole venue lit up—literally and figuratively. The sound system is one of the best I’ve heard in a venue this size, crystal clear and deep. It’s a rare spot where music, food, design, and people all align perfectly. Whether you're in it for the vibe, the art, the eats or just a proper night out—this is it. Faith In Strangers is not just a bar or restaurant—it’s an experience.

A fantastic addition to Margate's roast scene. The welcome was warm and attentive and actually service impeccable throughout our visit with views over the ocean and music to encourage what was a relaxed vibe with the odd head sway between chomps. We didnt have starters but wished we had when we saw other tables sharing a few and will on next visit. The roast was delicious and perfectly cooked with the beef & chicken moist, the side of cauliflower/Broc cheese was next level - bowls scrapped !! The jugs of jus also a lovely touch for potato dunking. We even took a few spuds home for cold with salad cream We will be back to try other options

Came for a bite to eat and omg the sunset views in this restaurant are something to behold! I had a simple burger and fries but the love, ingredients and the taste just blew me away. Staff were friendly and attentive with a great knowledge on wines. I'll be coming back to their 'Feast of the Gods' event.

The Steak and Frittes was absolutely banging and the jukebox in the loo was an extra treat. This place has got a great sea view too! Oh and the smoky tequila cocktail is gorgeous. Would definitely go again.

Walked in for an unplanned family lunch on a chilled Sunday and it was great. Food, views and service were all awesome. Deep fried deviled eggs were especially great and they've got actually interesting low/no alcohol cocktails. Pricing was ok, but for the quality of the overall experience it's amazing value.
