Currently having a very frustrating experience with Alive Network. We booked a specific named artist for our wedding, only to then be told they were unable to perform due to health-related issues (now described as "force majeure"). Based on that, we had to make alternative arrangements elsewhere to ensure our day wasn’t at risk. Despite this, Alive Network are refusing to return our deposit, arguing they can offer a "suitable alternative", even though our contract was for a specific artist, not a substitute. Communication has been inconsistent throughout, and we’re now stuck in a position where we don’t feel we can rely on the original booking, but are still expected to lose money if we walk away. Very disappointing handling of what should be a straightforward situation. I would strongly encourage others to think carefully before booking, particularly if certainty and clear accountability are important to you.

Dial tones (Let it Begin ) are the most amazing wedding band you could ever have, they interact with the crowd, let the kids join in and so friendly, they sound absolutely amazing nothing is to much for these boys ! They were the icing on the cake for our wedding thank you lads

We were looking for a non traditional compere for our wedding in December. Alive Network introduced us to Paul Evers. Paul MADE our day. He really took time to get to know us as a couple before the day. He made everyone feel calm in the morning. He made us laugh so much during the wedding breakfast. I still laugh at some of his jokes nearly three months later. He absolutely nailed it! The best memories. Thanks so much to Paul and Alive xx

Musician's Review: Although the signing up process took a while, since being on Alive's platform I receive several enquiries daily! These have led to 10 confirmed bookings within 2 months or so which has really helped me out financially. All of their agents that I have dealt with are very friendly and professional and always happy to help. Highly recommend for musicians!

I've used Alive Network three times and found them to be very helpful. Two of the acts I booked were absolutely brilliant, and I when I raised a complaint about one of the artists after the event Alive Network took this very seriously and de-listed the artist due to the issues raised. They care about the reliability of their artists which gives me confidence in using them again.

We booked the wanderful four (trio) to play at our wedding via Alive Network. After spending a lot of time watching different demos etc to choose a band we thought would suit our day perfectly, we were really surprised when the band that turned up to play were a completely different band to the one we had chosen. They obviously didnt really know each other and hence the vibe was not as we had expected. The men were perfectly nice so this isn't a reflection on them, it just wasnt the band we had chosen, and spent quite a lot of money on. We felt quite misled and very disappointed that no-one had mentioned this or acknowledged it. After the day I contacted the booking agent to raise this - initially being told that the band is a collective and therefore the members in the promos/demos arent necessarily who will be attending your event. If this is the case I feel the demos are really misleading and fairly pointless, as I assumed that I was choosing the band I saw. In the end I was told that one of the band members had been in the original line up, but due to various issues the other members were different. I think what I find particularly disappointing is the complete lack of communication and that no one at any point either before or after the day (despite being in contact) acknowledged that different people would be playing and hence we were getting a completely different band and experience to what we had chosen.

Thank you for the opportunity to leave a review, however it is with deep regret that I feel the need to leave such a disappointing review. Having already had a band booked, I saw the reviews for The Royale and felt they looked fun, vibrant and more suited to our wedding and so changed last minute. The contract paid for included 3 music sets of 45 minutes per time and within their package the expectation was for the band to be supplied with soft drinks and food which was adhered too. My first dance with my husband was scheduled for 7pm just after the evening guests had arrived however the band arrived late, which resulted in a late set up and a delayed first dance at 19.30pm. Following on from this I was extremely disappointed that the band only delivered 2 sets, and packed equipment up early and packed equipment away and left the evening party guests without entertainment and relying on the venue providing an Alexa device. Nor me or my husband were notified by the band that they had decided to leave early. After having raised this issue with the bands manager Claire, we were absolutely horrified at her response and the management of this thereafter. We were informed that the band left early due to our wedding party allegedly being too drunk and rowdy. This was most certainly not the case, I fully accept people were happy and dancing and enjoying our celebration however at no point do I feel this was a problem. We were accused of smashing alcohol on the stage, however there was a not a stage present. The band was set on the same level on the dance floor. A drink was dropped by accident by my husband which we apologised for, however it did not land on the bands equipment, it was nearby. The band reported they felt intimidated and unsafe of certain guests which I find incredibly appalling. My children along with multiple other children were celebrating our wedding and under no circumstances would I expose them to any environment detrimental to their well-being. The band referred to us in an email as belligerent which we were most aghast at. My wedding party predominantly consisted of professionals including Nurses, social workers, Police officers, child protection specialists, along with elderly relatives who required support to make our celebrations. To refer to my wedding guests in such a way was highly insulting, impertinent and upsetting. The band were clearly talented musicians and they did play some music for guests which were off their plan however if you are looking for an evening reception where you can sit down and and not dance then they would be great, however If looking for an evening party of dancing and fun then perhaps look at alternative bands. Such a disappointing end to my wedding which has been seamless until this episode. Book with caution In further response to your reply - my venue have confirmed that I am spot on with my facts. At no point have we been untoward to anyone nor did any guest. My venue has commented with how lovely we all were and what a lovely day and night it was. I will be calling you Monday to continue my complaint and my venue will also be calling you to discuss your accusations. If not resolved in the correct manner I will be taking this to small claims court. You have also claimed my venue were in agreement with you - which incorrect they have not and won’t side with you. I will be touch Monday - Emma
