Sonus Events

Sonus Events are on another level. The production, sound, lighting and overall setup they deliver completely transforms the venue. We’ve worked with them on multiple big nights and every time they raise the bar. Professional, reliable and know exactly how to create an atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Fearless… Alan and the Sonus team have been with us since the very beginning, and we certainly wouldn’t be where we are today without their support along the way. Held at Eston Sports Centre, Fearless requires a complete transformation—from a standard, blank sports hall into a high-end freestyle event venue. It’s no easy task, but one that Sonus take completely in their stride. Each year we challenge Alan to deliver something new and exciting, and he never fails to exceed expectations. One of Alan’s greatest strengths is his ability to bring ideas to life—no matter how ambitious or complex they may be. Our working relationship continues to go from strength to strength, and there is no one else we would trust to deliver our event setup.

Eurodance takes place in the world-famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom, making it one of the most prestigious freestyle dance festivals in the UK. Transforming such an iconic venue into a full-scale festival is no small task—but that’s where Sonus Events come in. Alan and his team have worked alongside us for years, and we wouldn’t trust anyone else to deliver at this level. From initial load-in through to de-rig, Sonus consistently brings a level of sophistication and precision that elevates the entire event. The quality of their equipment—across visuals, lighting, and sound—is exceptional, helping us create a truly unforgettable experience for everyone involved. Alan’s knowledge and professionalism are second to none, and we’re incredibly grateful to Sonus for the vital role they play in making Eurodance such a success.

I had the pleasure of working with this lighting and sound team for a couple freestyle dance events, Scottish Dancer of the Year Championships and City of Glasgow Championships, they absolutely delivered on every level. From setup to the final dance, they created an environment that felt electric, immersive, and perfectly tuned to the energy of the dancers. The lighting was a standout — dynamic, responsive, and full of personality and WOW factor It shifted seamlessly with the music and movement, adding intensity during high-energy routines and atmosphere during more expressive routines. It genuinely felt like the lighting was part of the performance itself. The sound system was equally impressive. Every beat hit clean and powerful, with no distortion even at high volumes. For a dance event, that kind of clarity and consistency makes all the difference, and they nailed it. DJs and dancers alike were clearly loving the setup. What I appreciated most was how in tune the team was with the flow of the event. They adapted quickly, supported last-minute changes, and kept everything running smoothly without ever being intrusive. Their professionalism and passion really shone through. If you’re putting on any kind of dance-focused event and want to create an unforgettable vibe, I’d highly recommend this team. They know exactly how to bring a space to life.

Working with Sonus has been brilliant. Having partners you can rely on is everything, and Sonus deliver every time. They’re organised, technically minded, and always calm under pressure — which keeps us calm too. Every idea we have for our "Fearless" event, they take head-on and push it further to make it even better. A proper team to have alongside you.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better lighting and sound team for my event. From the very first conversation, they were professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making everything perfect. They took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and then elevated it beyond anything I had imagined. The lighting completely transformed the space — it created the perfect atmosphere at every stage of the event, from warm and elegant during arrivals to vibrant and energetic later on. The sound quality was flawless throughout; music, speech and sound came through crystal clear, with perfect balance and no technical hiccups whatsoever. What really stood out was their attention to detail and calm, confident presence on the day. They handled everything seamlessly behind the scenes, so I never had to worry about a thing. It’s rare to find a team that combines technical expertise with such a friendly, approachable attitude. So many of my guests commented on how incredible the setup was, and a huge part of that is thanks to this amazing team. I would highly recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking to create a truly memorable event — they absolutely exceeded expectations.

Working alongside Sonus Events has been a game-changer for ProStage. What stands out most is their vision. They’re not just delivering great events today, they’re building something bigger for the future of the industry, creating opportunities, raising standards, and pushing what’s possible. We’re proud to be part of that journey. 5*
