Fantastic, individual, comfortable, friendly pub - and so much more. Lovely to have owner Chris serve us, with some great real ale. We stayed a great deal longer than we planned. Would recommend this pub totally for a great pub experience. Currently food is not offered. Dogs welcome. The outside looks great, although we didn’t venture into the garden as it was raining.

This was such a good find! Lovely beer garden at the back which we spotted from the road. Food menu is quite limited - only pies and flatbreads but it was so tasty! One of the best cheese and onion pies I’ve had in ages! Highly recommend - a lovely spot to call in after a day walking in the Peaks.

Absolutely love this place, we’re so happy it’s opened back up and as an independent pub. It’s a lovely country pub which we always make a stop off whilst out on a walk, it’s dog friendly and has great views from in the main bar area. The owners and staff are really friendly which you can have a good chat with and there is a great choice of beers, wines and good quality coffee on offer. They have some amazing ideas in the pipeline for this place including a food menu coming soon which we’re really looking forward to seeing it all come together for them. Well done guys 👏🏻

Went to hear some excellent local bands. Pub have a regular music programme with some star guests. Excellent service and picked up some cheap bin end wines too. Only problem is being a victim of its own success: very crowded with obstructed view of band. Great pub overall though.

Went to watch a gig here, great cozy pub with lots of good drinks choices at reasonable prices. Great night and owner was super friendly! Thank you
