Great boozer, got everything. I come here with our group every few weeks and are always made to feel so welcome. Foods good, owners are good and has a real friendly feel. The best in Sutton

Spent a weekend locally in Sutton and was taken to the Robinhood, it is a fantastic venue, the bar staff serve red us quickly and politely. The food was good quality for the price and atmosphere was the most lively of all the pubs visited. The only thing I’d improve on (if being picky) was some other the furniture could do with being replaced. Other than that 10/10 would do again.

I am amazed at how well this pub is run and how the main reason for their success is their focus on the public and locals who use their establishment. In days of uncertainty and lurid stories on social media, this was an oasis of calm and good humoured people wanting a great experience on an afternoon or night out. The food is going to make you remember what home cooking at its best is. The landlord and staff run a tight ship and remind me of the good old days where friendly people enjoyed meeting each other for the experience of a good time. With great music and good food and ales its the perfect place for a meet up of old mates and hopefully revitalise hour social calendar going into Autum and the end of summer. Keep and eye out for sone of the great events coming up. They have quickly gained a reputation for bringing in great musical talent to this area. Ken Muir

Unfortunately our experience did not satisfy. We arrived early, before dinner rush around 6pm where we were greeted in a friendly manner, soon changed when we expressed we did not have a booking. We got shoved on a high table with too many chairs and no condiments. While trying to order we were then made aware they ‘had no steak’ so we were asked to choose something else. Finally decided on Chilli Con Carne only to be attended not even 10 minutes later saying ‘we don’t have any Chilli Con Carne either’. Ended up getting Lasagne which was small in portion, and worse a decent chunk of my meal was actually burnt so badly I couldn’t even cut it with a knife, and absolutely no sight of a dressed salad. Extremely disappointing considering the amount of great reviews.

I came here today for work.... Friendly, popular local pub The new Landlady Claire / landlord Steve who took over 8 weeks ago seem very nice people. Refurbished last year this beautiful pub was serving up some lovely looking food. I was met be Claire, very welcoming and really friendly. The place looks great after the refurbishment. It's got sports on the TV's with dining and seating areas out front and to the rear. It has a mid sized function room upstairs with some tables and chairs, this room also has a small bar. You'll have to ask one of them for more information on maybe using this for moms clubs and such or for celebrating 🤗 It has a Dart board and a huge selection of drinks... It looks a nice place for locals to relax and unwind. Best of luck with the new pub guys

Had a lovely meal with a tasty pint here on Friday evening. Wasn't too busy, though food took a while to come out. I'm planning to visit again 2026-07 update: food was much better and they had live music. Winner winner chicken dinner! 2026 update: came for a date night meal with my partner. Food was overcooked. For both of us. And our order was not right. Shame as I liked this place.

This being literally 5 minutes from us and recently being refurbished we really hoped it would be good. Firstly the decor and atmosphere were good the staff we're actually very friendly and the pub was generally clean. Here's the bad part we booked for Sunday roast my wife and 2 of our children hoping that the food would be nice. I'm afraid it wasn't the meat with the roast was very tuff like chewing a leather boot the potatoes were absolutely cremated and the veg was bland and had no taste whatsoever. We ordered a pizza for our youngest which was literally a tortilla wrap with sauce and cheese on i was shocked. I've eaten in pretty much every pub in and around sutton and this is by far the worst which was a real shame for us as like I said is 5 minutes away and we could have had a nice regular place to eat on Sundays. Again a real shame as if the food was good here, the place I think would be absolutely packed on Sundays as the pub itself is really nice. Great place for drinks just don't bother with the food.
