⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We booked a Twins 1st Birthday Cake Smash with Mary Ann and honestly, it was such a lovely experience! We travelled from Watford, and it was definitely worth the trip. I came along with my friend for the session, and even though it was such a hot day, we both found the whole thing so positive and stress-free. We actually turned up a bit early but Mary-Ann welcomed us straight in and made us feel so comfortable. The studio is gorgeous – really calm, minimal and stylish – and I loved how the babies looked in the outfits she provided. They settled so quickly and were really happy throughout, which made everything so much easier. Mary-Ann herself is brilliant to work with – warm, friendly and professional, but also really fun which helped us (and the babies!) relax straight away. She was also great with my toddler, who wasn't meant to be there but for childcare reasons ended up joining us! The Welcome Guide she sent beforehand was super helpful too, so we knew what to bring and how to prepare. Finding the address and parking was super easy. And the final portraits… just wow. They’re beautiful – such high quality, full of emotion and definitely something to treasure forever. Couldn’t recommend Mary Ann more – we left with happy babies, a happy mum, and photos that are just totally stunning!

We did the Magical Moments session with Mary-Ann which consisted of photos of our baby, sibling shots and family shots. The whole experience was lovely! She was professional, put everyone at ease and was super amazing with our kids, especially with our excited toddler! The photos were so beautiful that we purchased the entire album. If you’re looking for a photographer, trust that you’ll be in good hands with Mary-Ann. The reviews speak for itself. Highly recommended.

We are so happy that we chose Captured by Carter to capture our daughter’s first birthday cake smash. From the moment we arrived at the studio, Mary-Ann made us feel very welcome. She has such a warm and gentle way about her and instantly formed a natural connection with our daughter, making the whole experience feel relaxed, fun and truly special. What stood out the most was how patient and thoughtful Mary-Ann was throughout, even encouraging little breaks for our daughter to settle when she needed them. She went above and beyond to make sure not only that our daughter was happy, but that we as parents felt completely comfortable too. It’s clear how much heart and love she puts into her work. When we saw the photos, we were completely blown away. Every single one was beautiful, so much so that we had to have them all! These pictures aren’t just photos, they are memories we’ll treasure forever and gifts our whole family has already fallen in love with. We attended for the 1st Birthday Cake Smash. Mary Ann’s studio was lovely with a minimalistic approach. She had lots of lovely outfits available for all. There was also lots of props for our baby. Communication was clear from booking to purchasing. The welcome guide answered various questions but Mary Ann was always available to answer any queries. The gallery images looked lovely and various family members loved them. They will make a very nice present for each family member. Many thanks!

We had a family shoot with Mary-Ann after welcoming our second child. From our first communication she was really approachable and helpful. The studio is bright, warm and had some lovely welcoming touches for our little ones. Mary-Ann was so patient with our newborn and toddler - Really engaging, ensuring we got some wonderful, natural and candid moments, as well as accommodating any requests we had. Mary-Ann has some lovely timeless props and a great range of clothes which made the whole process so easy. We received our portfolio in great time and couldn't be happier with the beautiful pictures, we had to have them all! We will treasure them forever and really recommend Mary-Ann to capture your special family milestones.

What a fabulous experience! Communication before the shoot was clear and professional. Mary-Ann was friendly and welcoming, the studio immaculate and the props gorgeous. The studio was lovely and warm so it was comfortable for my baby in just her vest. The props were gorgeous and she had a lovely selection of clothes to fit the aesthetic. The photos were sent very quickly and are absolutely gorgeous I will definitely be purchasing the full album because I cannot possibly choose.

We had a lovely Christmas photo shoot with Mary-Ann at her home studio. The studio was cosy and warm and I loved the neutral back drop and beautiful props, Mary-Ann was really welcoming, and a natural with my baby. He was really at ease with her and sat surprisingly still! The photos are gorgeous and look really timeless. We will enjoy looking at these photos every Christmas. Mary-Ann was super easy to communicate with and had a really quick turn around time, which was a bonus! I would highly recommend.
