We had such a wonderful experience with our family photo session while on vacation in Lyme Regis. From the very beginning, Ross was incredibly accommodating, even keeping his schedule flexible in case the weather didn't cooperate. Before the session, he took the time to listen to the types of photos and backgrounds I was hoping for, and he perfectly incorporated those into our shoot. We especially appreciated how patient he was with our toddler. Anyone who has tried to photograph a two-year-old knows it can be unpredictable, but he managed to capture so many beautiful moments with genuine smiles. The final gallery exceeded our expectations and gave us the perfect keepsake from our trip. I had a one to one 2 hour lesson with Ross because I couldn’t understand my digital camera and found it difficult to take reliable photos! He spent an hour explaining the various settings with visual props that really helped me understand the functions fully. We then practiced in his garden and I found this so helpful to consolidate the earlier theory. Ross came to Lyme Regis to photograph all 17 of our family who had come together for the first time. The ages ranged from 7 to 80. The set of photographs produced by Ross - formal and informal groupings of varying sizes - were of a quality which exceeded our expectations. His ability to organise and, at the same time, put everyone at their ease (especially the children), combined with his evident photographic skills, resulted in a gallery of photos which we now all treasure.
