Michael was fantastic. He gave us a really reasonable price given his experience and expertise. He communicated well with us beforehand which was important as we were coming from another country to get married. On the day he turned up exactly as promised. He was unobtrusive and professional, and was very conscious of not being too visible or noisy. He had almost no requirements from us (unlike some of the photographers we enquired with who seemed to want three course dinners and various perks!!) - and was very focused on the job. The pictures we received were beautiful. Everybody who has seen them loves them! Most of them are natural type shots - which we love - and are a great reminder and story of the day, but he was also happy to do all the more formal shots in the church with families etc. After the wedding and editing, he sent us all the pictures. Unfortunately after a few months I lost the saved versions because I had a computer problem. I emailed him more in hope rather than expectation and I was really impressed that he not only responded, but was able to send us copies of our photos!! I would thoroughly recommend him to anybody getting married and we were thrilled with the service and photos. We are very pleased with the photos we got for our wedding. Michael was rarely seen throughout the day, blending perfectly into the background, and yet he has managed to capture the day brilliantly. I was pleasantly surprised how he managed to get the ceremony pictures from so many angles because I can't recall seeing him move around at all! Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side, being an October wedding, but Michael found us a few areas at our venue to get some outside shots - and luckily we had a wonderful staircase that allowed us to take the group shots we required - and there were a lot of them with the multiple family group set-ups that I wanted. Thank you Michael for your work on the day and for getting the photos to us promptly within the 3 week time-frame promised.

So happy with our wedding photos! Being quite camera shy, I was quite nervous but Mike made everyone feel so relaxed and the photos show this. Didn't even notice him at times and the results are just amazing, such natural pictures and he captured all the little details and emotions of the day. Speedy turnaround receiving our wedding pictures and great service throughout. Highly recommend 🙂

Michael shot photos for our wedding last year. He was relaxed and unobtrusive, working hard throughout the day, and took lots of high quality photos capturing precious moments from the occasion. Competitively priced too - I would recommend!

Avoid this photographer at all costs. We asked Michael to take the photographs for our wedding in April 2016. He turned up on the day and although he took a large number of photographs, only a handful were of any reasonable quality. He made no effort to organise the guests for any photographs and as a result we ended up with only one set of our families together. In addition to this, his staging of a number of the photographs was amateur. We got married in a scenic location and in all of the photographs taken outside, from one single angle only, there are patches of mud and road visible in the background. When we received the CD of our photos, not a single one had been edited and not a single one was a "black and white variant" as promised on his website. They were far from the quality of the photos displayed on his website and certainly were not of a professional standard. We were not happy with the quality of the photographs, but it has been his post wedding service which has been most shocking of all. We were married over two years ago and are still waiting for Michael to send us the photo album that we paid him a large sum of money for. This is despite us having emailed him, and phoned him, and even receiving multiple promises and reassurances from him that he is working on this. We paid him a significant sum of money for a service and, despite repeated requests, he continues to refuse to send us the photo album that we have paid him for. He continues to exasperate us by ignoring our emails, and has essentially cheated us out of close to £500 (half the price of the service) by not completing this part of the work. I really did not want to leave a negative review and was prepared to not do so had he sent us our album, but his continued ignoring us and of our attempts to contact him has frustrated me to such a point that I feel I am left with no other option. I would strongly advise any soon to be newly weds to look elsewhere for another photographer to take the pictures for their big day. We are now considering what other avenues we can take to retrieve our money from him and cannot rule out the possibility of legal action. These are not the kind of problems anyone needs over their wedding photos. Avoid.
