We booked Jamie as he photographed our friend’s wedding, so we knew the photos would be amazing, but when we received our photos back, they were even more incredible than we could have ever imagined! He was such a pleasure to have at the wedding, he was calm and reassuring, brought the vibes and we couldn’t be more grateful that he took our wedding photos

We loved working with Jamie. We booked him to do our wedding pictures in July and we’re so happy with the pictures - absolutely stunning. Right from the start we really liked Jamie’s energy, he asked all the right questions and was curious and excited to help us. He’d never worked at our venue before so arrived early on our wedding day to scope the scene and get some good ideas for where to take pictures. It was a rainy day but Jamie was watching the weather and took advantage of the drier spells brilliantly. We found some great photo spots and his relaxed vibe really put us at ease so we felt comfortable and like ourselves which is really captured in the pictures. The photos were finished beautifully, with an umbrella on the floor and a rogue droopy flower edited out expertly in a couple of photos so focus stayed on us, our venue and our guests. We would really recommend Jamie, we’ll treasure the photos forever 🙂

Jamie shot at our wedding. From initial consultation to meeting at the chapel before the event for a walk-through, then going above and beyond on the day. There were so many compliments on how Jamie interacted with the guests extremely well. We love the way Jamie works and created a great memory of our day. Wow – we cannot recommend Jamie Dodd highly enough! From the very beginning, Jamie was friendly, down-to-earth, and genuinely invested in getting to know us as a couple. He took the time to understand exactly what we wanted from our wedding photographs and made us feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process. Neither myself nor my now-husband are particularly confident in front of a camera, but Jamie immediately put us at ease. His relaxed approach and natural style meant that having our photographs taken never felt awkward or forced. On the day itself, Jamie was incredible. He captured moments as they happened naturally, without ever feeling intrusive or taking us away from enjoying the day. We often forgot we were having our photographs taken, yet somehow he managed to capture every important moment and so many beautiful details we would otherwise have missed. The whole day flowed effortlessly, and we never felt like we were being pulled away from spending time with our family and friends. What we love most about Jamie's photography is how authentically he captured the emotion of the day. Not only did he document the big moments between the two of us, but he also captured the joy, laughter, tears, and genuine connections shared with our family and friends. Some of our favourite photographs are the quiet, candid moments we didn't even realise were happening at the time. When we received our gallery, we were completely blown away. Every image felt natural, timeless, and full of emotion. Looking through the photographs was like reliving the entire day all over again, and Jamie managed to tell the story of our wedding perfectly. Nothing feels staged or overly posed—just genuine moments beautifully captured. The final collection is everything we could have hoped for and more. These are photographs we will treasure for the rest of our lives, and we are so grateful that Jamie was there to document such a special day. Jamie was amazing to work with. We got so many incredible photos from both our engagement and wedding day. He puts in so much thought and effort into all the photos, the attention to detail and creative angles are incredible. We couldn’t have asked for more. Honestly, our engagement photo shoot was one of the best experiences we have had together as a couple. It was very intimate but Jamie captured the gorgeous setting and sunset lighting in the most spectacular way possible. Jamie has always made us both feel at ease and comfortable. He was such a good sport about my suggested location which was not an easy location to get to and he trekked along with all his gear. The photos that came out of that session were insane. We were so pleased with them. Our wedding day photos were beyond incredible! The first time we went through the photos with our family, it brought plenty of tears and laughter. The photos were stunning! There were so many beautiful moments in that album. It was such a lovely experience to relive our wedding day through Jamie’s lens. We had no idea how much our guests enjoyed themselves until we saw the photos. He had an amazing way to tell a story with his photos. He never ceases to amaze us! He truly elevates your special day and he exceeded our expectations immensely, capturing lovely special moments and all the love we felt from our family and friends on our wedding day. It truly felt like the photos were taken by someone who had known us for a long time and it oozed ‘We are having the best day of our lives’!
