Paul was fabulous as our wedding photographer! He was gentle but effective which was what we were after: gorgeous documentary style photography that didn’t intrude on the day. Thank you! 10/10 would recommend.

Paul is an unbelievably talented photographer who perfectly captured the essence, energy and joy of our wedding day. If you want documentary style wedding photography, then look no further. His skill lies in capturing the big moments as well as the small, intimate ones in the most discreet and effortless way and he has created the most stunning visual record that we will cherish forever. He was so easy to work with and we can't thank him enough for being part of our celebration.

Paul is an excellent, kind, and calm photographer and captures beautiful moments. He stepped in at very short notice to replace our original photographer. We and our family and friends were thrilled with our wedding photos. Thank you Paul for putting us at ease and bringing our vision to life!

Paul is an exceptional photographer and very importantly a lovely man. In the lead up to the wedding he was very easily contactable and went through all of the days plans with us. On the day he was practically invisible! The photos are amazing and with such style, making sure our special day was documented forever. We are so thrilled with the memories we have of our wedding day.

Paul photographed our wedding events and we cannot recommend him highly enough. His documentary approach meant that he was able to capture the most special and candid moments in an unobtrusive way. The resulting photographs are art pieces: beautifully framed, dramatically lit and wonderfully creative. We also greatly appreciated Paul’s kindness throughout the process. He was attentive to our requests, constantly reassuring and made sure that we were always comfortable. To say that we are pleased with his service and work is an understatement, and we will undoubtedly be contacting him for future events.

Paul stepped in at short notice to replace our planned photographer. We need not have worried about our initial reservations with the last minute change. We had a Zoom meeting with Paul to discuss our style preferences and he offered some thoughts and advice for the day. Considering the short notice we were lucky that Paul was available to be with us all day and into the late evening. Paul captured some lovely moments as we were getting ready, he also gently advised me to take a moment to quietly read my vows, when he noticed I had repeated a couple of words. He was on hand to suggest the positioning of button holes. Other than this at times we forgot he was in the room, he was very unobtrusive. There are some beautiful photographs of the hotel and grounds that Paul took before the wedding, and some of our guests in the bar when they arrived, which we wouldn't have seen. The photos of the ceremony are just beautiful and capture the spirit of our day. We chose to only have a couple of group photos and then went off quietly for a walk in the hotel grounds. Although we had decided not to have any posed images of ourselves, when we came to a shelter that framed an image Paul suggested that if we had any posed shots this was crying out, and if we were going to do it, let's do it right! so he gently guided our pose. The result is beautiful. All other images of our walk were taken as we just chatted and forgot Paul was with us at times. In the evening we had a fantastic band, and some very enthusiastic guests dancing, which led to some great images! In contrast there are gentle shots of reflections in mirrors or through windows which are so beautifully framed. Paul captured the good the bad and the ugly which is exactly what we wanted, a magical moment during our vows, our friend's labrador and her muddy feet jumping up at me in my white dress, guests gyrating on the dance floor. There are some lovely moments of my Dad, who Paul knew was very unwell, and has since passed away, so pictures we will treasure forever. We loved watching the slide show he carefully prepared for us and exploring our photos We notice something different in them every time we look at them, to the point that we just wanted to see more, so have ordered extra 'raw' photos to further document parts of our day we didn't get to see. We would not hesitate to recommend Paul. He is calm, professional and easy to talk to. He has a wonderful eye for beautiful photography and he is a really nice man.
