Studio 1 Photography

I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Studio 1 are absolutely fantastic. From our bump photos, to newborn (which is the most amazing experience you could ever imagine) 1 week postpartum with twins Emma and Ashley were absolutely amazing with them handled them with so much care, gave us so much advice and you can’t get over the end result. It’s better than anything you could ever imagine! They capture the newborn phase exactly what it is and without this, it would’ve been a blur! We have also done the Christmas photo shoot which I think will become a tradition now! Thank you so so much. I would recommend to everyone.

I attended Studio 1 in December for my bump shoot and then again in February for my newborn shoot. Both times Ashley and Emma were fantastic, made me feel so at ease and Emma was amazing with my fussy newborn, the photos they captured of her are amazing, you wouldn’t know she gave them the runaround! They were so welcoming to my little dog and my parents who attended to help me with my dog. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience and some beautiful photos. We will be back! 🙂

We had such a lovely experience here with Emma and Ash. Firstly when we arrived they both made us feel very comfortable and welcoming, giving us plenty of time with our baby to get her ready and Changed and fed all ready for her newborn shoot they didn’t rush us at all. Secondly, ash is extremely talented in his photography they are exceptional! He always got the perfect angle at the perfect time. Where Emma and her fantastic creativity posed our baby in the most gorgeous positions still making sure she was comfortable and happy. Thirdly, when going to select our photos it was extremely hard to decide they were all gorgeous. They had so many different frame options and packages to offer to suit all different price ranges. I cannot wait to get our photos and put them up on the wall😍 Overall 11/10 experience and a lovely couple. Will be returning for a Christmas photoshoot! Thankyou both x - Sophie, Kyle and baby Heidi

I booked my shoot here and it was the best experience! I felt so supported and un-rushed. Emma did my hair and make up which looked fabulous! My photos were shared with me quickly and easily and the package prices are great value for money. My photos have been edited to still hold a natural feel and are sympathetic to my natural look. Once I have shared my photos with my husband, I will add one to the review. Thank you for the best experience and filling me with confidence! I’ll be back!

Ashley and Emma are the real dynamic duo of photography. From when you arrive at their classy studios to when you leave with your pictures the experience is second to none. Emma created the atmosphere making the ladies more beautiful then Ash uses his creativeness and relaxing personality to bring out the best of us in pictures. The prices are reasonable and the results are stunning. The whole process is handled in house including the framing of the prints. We were absolutely thrilled with our results. Thank you so much

Having "won" a bump to baby portrait session, I went ahead & booked- all seems legitimate at this point, I had missed the "bump" as my baby came early, so was told I’d be able to have x2 prints from the baby shoot, which I was more than happy with. From arriving at the studio it felt like a hard sale & it was very clear I hadn’t won anything, but it was a way to get people in to pay for photos. After the shoot I went back to view images- again hard sell, I said I would just like my prize, but was told a huge array of parameters in getting the prize, you can’t have any photo from your shoot only specific ones, which coincidentally were photos I hadn’t selected, but ones I wasn’t keen on. The whole experience was uncomfortable & a prize shouldn’t be offered if it’s not actually redeemable, still to this day I haven’t been able to claim my "prize". Unless you like sitting uncomfortably through a hard sale, of expensive products, I wouldn’t bother going here! Luckily we had booked a shoot with another photographer so have the memories, but it was disappointing & overall just an all round uncomfortable experience.

What an amazing experience we have had from start to finish with Studio 1 Photography Chesterfield. We have just been to pick our amazing pictures and cannot wait to receive them! What a lovely, friendly professional couple 🩷 I definitely recommend 100% and we will be back for the Christmas shoot 😊
