The Design Gent

Adam has been an absolute superstar whilst he has been supporting my business with not just graphic design projects, but also signage and helping with interior design for our first retail store. He has a real passion for his work, very keen eye and has always delivered on the brief, on time and with quality. We’ve been very happy with his work and would highly recommend him.

We haven't been working with Adam for long, but the impact has been immediate. He's approachable, really listens to what you're trying to achieve, and consistently delivers concepts that hit the mark first time — something I've rarely experienced before. What sets him apart is that he balances creative thinking with a strong commercial eye, so the work always feels purposeful, not just pretty. We're excited to develop more elements of our brand with him and drive our visibility forward. Highly recommended.

Adam has really helped create a brand around our businesses. He's also proactively managed our LinkedIn account and creating content/posting, to help us get the reach we need. In addition, Adam has designed us our email signature, popup banners for events and other design needs. Would highly recommend him.

The least important thing about Adam is how extremely nice he is — and he really is incredibly nice. But far more importantly, his work is exceptional. I contacted him late one evening for help with a presentation that was completely beyond my capabilities. With minimal input, Adam produced the perfect PowerPoint — something I can now reuse flexibly to promote my business. He understood exactly what I needed, almost as if he could read my mind, and even arranged a follow‑up Teams call to walk me through everything and make sure I was fully happy. I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Adam is talented, reliable, and an absolute pleasure to work with.

When I set out to build Designer Wealth Ltd, I knew I needed more than a visual identity, I needed a brand with purpose, clarity and presence from day one. Something that would set the tone for the clients we serve and the journey we lead them on. That’s exactly what Adam Smalley, CEO of The Designer Gent, delivered. Adam didn’t just design a brand; he crafted an identity. He took the early ideas, the values driving the business, the ambition for the families we support and shaped them into a distinctive, confident brand that tells our story before we’ve even spoken a word. And here’s what many business owners overlook; this wasn’t a cost — it was an investment. The return isn’t just in the time and money we’ll save in the future by having clear, consistent guidelines. It runs deeper than that. A strong brand sharpens positioning, attracts the right clients, builds trust faster, and elevates the perception of value before a conversation even begins. In short, Adam has helped lay a foundation that will pay dividends for years to come. If you’re creating a new business and want a brand that truly reflects who you are and one that earns its keep, Adam is the partner you want by your side.
