We had both our maternity & newborn photoshoot with Hazel, she helped us feel completely at ease & included us in every stage making it clear which options were available to us. Hazel had some lovely ideas to incorporate our interests and hobbies into our daughter’s photos and the results were more than we could imagine. She was patient and calming, showing great care and fun when helping to make our toddler smile in family photos too! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a photographer to capture not only photos but memories we will cherish for a lifetime! 📷

I feel so honored to have met Hazel. I first came across her gorgeous work on social media when I was eight months pregnant and was instantly drawn to her beautiful artistic style. As someone who has never felt particularly confident in front of the camera, I was quite nervous about having my photo taken. However, Hazel immediately put me at ease from the moment we met. It quickly became clear that Hazel doesn't just take beautiful photographs, she is a beautiful person in and out too. Her warmth, kindness, and ability to make you feel comfortable is all part of the experience she provides. The images she captured are something I will treasure forever. I have already booked my little boy in for his first photo shoot, and I hope Hazel will continue to capture special moments for our growing family for years to come. I would work with Hazel again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to capture a special moment in time or person in their world. What an amazing experience. Hazel is so amazing at what she does, I had a session of newborn photos and had the best experience, she is so professional and truly loves what she does. Made us feel so comfortable and at ease specially as a first time mum it can be daunting but she is so supportive and understanding . 10/10 experience and pictures couldn’t recommend her enough, will definitely be back.

For those who know me, you’ll know Ruby was my world, my baby ❤️ I wanted to share our experience with Hazel Dean Photography 🤍 Hazel is deservedly in high demand, so we snapped up her earliest available slot for a shoot on the last weekend in January. A week before Christmas, Alf was sadly diagnosed with cancer, and we were told he didn’t have much time left. On the off chance, I messaged Hazel to see if there was any possibility of bringing our shoot forward, fully understanding that, with the holidays around the corner, it probably wouldn’t be possible. Oh my goodness... Hazel Dean was beyond caring and understanding. She went above and beyond and somehow managed to squeeze us in on Christmas Eve so she could accommodate our request. Sadly, just a week after losing Ruby, we had to say goodbye to Alf too, Michael’s best friend and loyal companion. Looking back now, I’m even more grateful that Hazel gave us the chance to capture those precious moments together while we still could. I’m not going to lie, I didn’t realise just how amazing the photos would be, and I honestly can’t explain how much they mean to me. These memories are priceless, and I will be forever grateful. 🤍 Thank you, Hazel, for giving us these beautiful memories of our precious Ruby and Alf. They are something I will treasure forever.

She captured our family during such a special, chaotic, and beautiful season of life—combining newborn portraits, photos with our older child, full family shots, and even photos with our two dogs. Working with newborns, toddlers, and pets all at once is no easy task, but they handled the entire session with endless patience, warmth, and complete professionalism. I booked in with Hazel for a newborn shoot during my pregnancy as I knew I wanted photos done when my little one arrived and I loved Hazel’s style so wanted to make sure we were all booked in. Hazel was great at keeping in contact and has brilliant communication so I felt assured everything was in hand and knew what we needed to do/bring for the day. On the day, Hazel made my husband and I feel very relaxed and comfortable in her lovely studio. She was amazing with our 3 week old baby - so gentle, kind, caring and professional. Hazel was very knowledgeable - you could tell she really knew what she was doing and had done lots of training to safely photograph and position babies which was important to us (in fact she had been in a training day the day before the shoot). when chatting to Hazel she found out we had dogs (our fur babies) and offered to photo them separately and put a composite photo together of the dogs and our baby - all our babies in one photo. The result was incredible and we are so delighted with all our photos. We ordered wall art and we are so happy with it - it is beautiful and we get so many compliments from guests. Thanks so much again Hazel! We can’t wait to come back again!
