The Gibsons Photography

The Gibsons photographed our wedding in August 2022. I remember searching online for photographers with no idea where to start and fell in love with their style. We love every single photo taken of the day. They captured it perfectly. As soon as we found out we were expecting our first child in May 2024 I knew we had to have our newborn photos captured by them. We had these done in their lovely studio and they turned out beautiful! We welcomed the arrival of our twin girls in February 2026 and with three under two, logistically it made sense to have our photos done at home. The Gibsons travelled all the way to Dundee and again captured stunning photos of our whole family, including our dog, that we are going to cherish forever. It has been amazing having them capture all of our milestones so beautifully and we can’t thank them enough.

When we found The Gibsons, another Canadian/Scottish couple we knew for sure they were the best wedding photographers for us! They were extremely helpful from start to finish, helping us with suppliers and knowledge for our wedding at Oran Mor as we live in Canada. As soon as I got out the car on the day, Chantal was ready with smiles and good vibes. Both her and Scott made us feel at ease all day and happily followed our lead as we enjoyed our day. I cannot put into words the quality of art they produced, our wedding album is absolutely stunning and they captured the day in the most perfect way!! We cannot wait to come to visit Scotland and work with them again <3

The Gibsons photographed our wedding in December, and they were absolutely amazing! We just couldn't recommend them more. They have been in the business for so long that they know the venues inside and out, so they could give great advice on timings through the day to get the best lighting. They worked with us every step of the way to get to know what was important to us, and took pictures that matched our energy as a couple. I am honestly so glad they had our date free, every tagged picture we liked on Instagram was theirs and so we knew we wanted them for our wedding! Truly the nicest, calmest and most professional people. They think of everything to make your day run smoothly, and give you the most stunning pictures.

The Gibsons did the most amazing job of capturing our wedding day - we love our pictures so much and are delighted that these are the memories we are left with. Both Chantal and Scott made us, our families and all of our guests feel totally at ease on the day and were so helpful and efficient in the run up to the wedding and in getting our gallery over to us afterwards. We couldn't have asked for more!

We did a family photo shoot in Rouken Glen Park in June 2026. I don't love having my photo taken and I have two young children who are full of life so was a bit nervous. I shouldn't have been! We were made to feel so at ease and it was the loveliest time. We felt so relaxed, strolling round the park chatting and the shoot felt so natural. We love the photos and cant wait to get them hung on our walls. I feel like The Gibsons captured our family so well. Thank you!!

We cannot rave about The Gibsons Photography enough! Their pictures are absolutely beautiful. They managed to capture all of the love and happiness that was shared on our wedding day. Not to mention, they are fantastic organisers! They kept us in line with our schedule all day without missing a second of pictures. Would recommend them to anyone and everyone in need of photographers!

We had the pleasure of having Scott and Chantal photograph our wedding on 06.10.25. We also had an engagement shoot with them two years ago which not only helped us feel more comfortable in front of the camera but also confirmed that we absolutely wanted them to capture our wedding day. It was also great to be able to use our engagement photos for our wedding stationery! Chantal and Scott have been incredible from the very beginning. Communication was always excellent and even when we asked what felt like silly questions, they were always friendly and helpful. On the wedding day, things weren’t easy for them – it was rainy and windy for most of the day, it was a new venue for them and Chantal also wasn’t feeling well. She was such a trooper and wore a face mask all day out of consideration for our elderly guests, which we thought was incredibly thoughtful. She even braved the weather while unwell to get us outdoor photos! Despite the challenges, we’re absolutely in love with our pictures – and we’ve only seen the sneak peek so far!! Scott and Chantal are super organised and professional and their experience really helped create a calm atmosphere around photos time. They knew exactly when to step in for shots and when to let us enjoy time with our guests. We also loved adding 35mm film photography for that nostalgic feel! Of course they’re both incredibly talented photographers who know their stuff, but they’re also just genuinely lovely people with a great sense of humour, which made the whole experience even better. We felt completely in safe hands and had a 10/10 experience from the first enquiry to the engagement shoot and finally our wedding day.
